My Daughter's Citizenship
Hello:I am a U.S.citizen with residency in Plant City Florida who has been marooned in the Philippines with my Daughter who is legally orphan-adopted and 9 years old being with me since birth. Her adoptive"mother"abandoned us 5 1/2 years ago and sold our home and all possessions absconding to the U.S.with the money. We have been rebuilding our live's since.
I have saved enough money and obtain her B-2 visa. .I am on total S.S.physical disability.
It is my desire to take her home legally and receive her citizenship possibly using the N-600K process but was denied that option in 2009 for a bogus reason.Maybe try again?
Anyone with a similar experience that was successful please let us know how. Thank You
                                Sincerely
                      Gary and Logan

On July 8th, i got an email saying that i have been scheduling for nterview, and i ll receive the letter very soon, but at my surprise, on July 10th, i ge another email saying that i have been placed in line for interview scheduling. When i called then yesterday, the only thing the guy on the phone could tell me was my current status. I do not know what to do with this or where to go. Has this happened to anyone before? So far i have not gotten any letter in the mail

Question regarding stay outside the US
Hello, we are Canadian citizens living in the US. I am about to apply for Citizenship but I have a question regarding the number of days we traveled outside of US. I have dates for all our week long trips to other countries etc. but being close to Canadian border, we have taken many many weekend trips that I don't have dates for. How do we go about getting those? Can we ask border agents/office to provide those dates as they have a record of all our border crossings to Canada over the last 5 years? Any advise is much appreciated.

N400 : Citizenship Application
My application was recently denied because I made a costly error! Over the last 5 years I traveled out of the US 19 times; so in my application I stated this and indicated the dates. Unfortunately, while doing my calculations I made an error in the total number of days spent outside the US - an honest mistake, short of only six days.

My application was submitted in January and I have been in the US until denial in May.

I wish to approach the IO explaining my mistake, because of six days which I could have waited, why do I have to go through another process? or do I contact an Immigration Attorney to discuss my case with USCIS

Thanks, I'll appreciate any advice

I have filed my application on 10/13/2012. Had my bio taken on 11/6/2012.

Waiting for interview schedule now.

USCIS website says the average process time for Dallas TX office is 5 month and

it is about time that I should get the interview schedule to meet this average.

I am just so nervous as I need my citizenship to get a new job this summer.

N400 interview
I had my interview couple days ago the questions were very easy basicly about the government. My interview lasted for about 20 minutes after that my officer had to give my file to her supervisor to run the checks. I had to wait for 30 minutes to wait for my results after that the supervisor gave me a letter to come to the Naturalization ceremony in two weeks.

I passed the naturalization interview yesterday with no problems. But because I didn't have my marriage certificate the agent "who was very nice" told me that he could not approve my application at present. Note: the marriage license was not one of the things that I was told to bring. Anyway he told me if I faxed in my marriage license by 4pm that day that he would schedule me for an oath ceremony on next week Tuesday 09-25-12. I faxed it in about 2pm that day which was as soon as I got home from the interview. He said I would receive a call stating where and when the ceremony would be. Now I'm stuck to the phone and hoping that he didn't drop the ball on me. Has anyone else ever heard of that? And as usual there is no way to contact these guys. I know the fax was received. There is only one more business day before the oath ceremony.

Dateless Exam Interview
Hello everyone, I need help regards my case status. The online case status is on Testing & Interview phase and mentions this: "On August 22, 2012, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview. You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. It's been over 16 days with the same status, But I never recieved the letter by mail in order to know when is my exam interview due. I have called the NVC customer service mentioning my concerns & fears. They would not help me and appologized for providing any info regards my interview date. I never had any lost mails or missed any either through the mail box.

Any assistant or suggestions please!

Thanks,
