Hello,
I have Canada PR and I sent my documents for stamping. I received an email for follow up interview but no appointments are available.
My father has a liver transplant surgery next month and I need visa stamping appointment asap. Can someone help me with what can be done and if there is a way to request for emergency appointment?

Change in Interview location in Canada for H1-B visa stamping
Dear Friends,
I need your help. My son is in USA. He has done his undergrad and Master’s in USA. He has applied for the first time H1-B visa stamping in Canada. He has mentioned his interview location as Toronto in his DS-160 application. Now he got an early interview date in Vancouver. Will he be allowed to appear for interview using the same DS-160 by US Consulate in Vancouver? Please guide. Thank you in advance.

Looking for early appointment at Toronto/Ottawa location but couldn't find the slots.
1. Please share your experience how to find the early date and how frequently I need to check (timing/days).
2. Here, I am on close work permit and I have travel history for US on B1/B2. Can I apply for drop box as visa slots are not available.

H1 and H4 drop box eligible(PR), refuced and asked to attend in person interview , ottawa

Me(H1) and my wife(H4) applied for dropbox as we both are PR holders. After one week status changed "Interview Required- Passport Returned".
1) Is this coommon to ask to come for interview for PR holders.
2)I recived only my passport but my wife's passport is not there in the package. Will they send each applicant's passport separately?

Me: Indian national, having master's degree in Computer Science from US state university, worked for current US employer since 2017(5 yrs.), Married to spouse who has H1B and is residing in US, Salary is above filed LCA, got Canada PR COPR with last date of landing in 09/25/2022, applied for H1B Visa interview in Canada as a TCN (Third Country National) and got Interview at Vancouver on 08/03/2022.
My plan is to land in Canada on 07/31/2022 at Vancouver, process PR at the airport, wait in downtown till H1B interview, then wait in AirBnB near the city, till I get passport and PR back from processing.
Has anyone recently had a similar experience and have successfully got an H1B stamping done?
Does anybody see a red flag in this approach?
I am not in a hurry to get the H1B stamped but don't want to miss a chance in getting the Canadian PR. That is why I am thinking of this approach.

For those who have recently schedule in-person interview appointment at any Canadian embassy. Can you please share your experience. How easy was it to find date, I see it currently shows No Appointment Available? How often you check? Time of the day?

Hey guys, I am not eligible for dropbox and was able to schedule an in-person appointment at Ottawa consulate for Jan 2023. Is there a limit on how many times I can reschedule (if I find an earlier date)

Waiting for passport pickup
Hi, Attended H1B visa stamping interview on July 11 at vancouver Canada, Officer told visa is approved and will receive the passport in a week. My CEAC status is still showing July 14 as "Application Received" no progress on the status. Do I need to wait some more time. Has anyone faced this kind of situation?.
