Visa Stamping from Canada/ Mexico

Hi, I applied to Toronto consulate and received an email today informing that I need a follow-up appointment.

My email states, "The U.S. Consulate in Toronto has received your application submitted under the Interview Waiver guidelines. However upon further review the consular officer has determined that you require a personal interview. Your passport will be returned to you through Canada Post courier service. Once you have received your passport please proceed with scheduling an appointment by revisiting your profile at http://canada.usvisa-info.com/."

I do not see any available appointments. I have not received any other email from Consulate.

If you have also received follow-up interview request before, can you please share the email format, processor comments and if the consulate scheduled the appointment for you or you had to wait to find one for yourself?

Hi,
I submitted my documents for H1B visa stamping to Toronto Consulate. The documents were delivered on 12/23/2021.

1/4 : Status change from no status to Application Received.
1/5: data change updated with Application Received.
1/19: Status change to Administrative Processing.
1/21: data change updated with Application Received.
1/26: Status change from Administrative Processing to Application Received.

I have not been contacted by the Consulate for any Documents or info. I emailed them but have not heard anything back.
Has anybody experienced this ?

Hi, I am from Toronto and had filed my wife's visa with Ottawa Consulate (Dropbox) which was issued on Jan 20th, 2022. However Canada Post hasn't yet delivered the passports and it has been stuck in 'In Transit' since last 5 days and they're already late by a day.
Has anyone else experienced this with Canada Post.
I have exhausted all the options and their customer service isn't helpful either. Please post your experiences if your timelines match ours. Very nervous since these are passports with Visa stamps that they have delayed.

I am looking to get H1b stamping as my current stamping expires this year in August (2022).

At US visa page (ais.usvisa) when I filled my info, it shows I am applicable for exemption from in-person visa appointment, which means I can send my document via mail for stamping.

My question is:

1. I filled my DS160 number wrong, how can I change that with US embassy in Canada? Can I email them or is there a option on us visa page?

2. As my current stamping is valid until August, when can I send my documents to embassy for new stamping? I read somewhere that we can only apply up to 90 days before current stamping expires. Is that true?

Currently on Work Permit, Applying for US Visa interview. Can I choose option on AIS.USVISA site as permanent resident in canada? has any one tired this?

I applied and interviewed for my h4 visa on Jan 11 2022 at Calgary.
My ds160 status shows as refused with administrative processing. The consulate requires me to provide them with my spouse's new h1 visa stamp. I already shared the i797 approval but I am unable get the h1 visa stamp as my wife is in India to get this document.
Has anyone else been in this situation and can someone advise on whether this means I will get my h4 visa or not.

I want to know if anyone has experienced something similar or know if this is normal -

Dec 29th - 'Application Received' (day of my interview)
On the day of my interview, I was told by the visa officer that my visa was approved and I would receive my passport within a week.
 
I saw no further updates on the DS-160 tracker until 14th Jan, 2022.

Jan 14th - Case updated but the status still showed 'Application Received'

Jan 20th - I saw yet another case update to 'Application Received'
. I got a call shortly after that from an officer at the consulate to clarify a few things with respect to my case. At the end of the call the officer let me know that my visa was approved and I should receive my passport within a week now.

Jan 20th - After the call my status changed to 'Administrative Processing'

Jan 21st - As I'm checking the status of my case now, my status has changed back to 'Application Received' from 'Administrative Processing'.

Documents Couriered - Dec 29
Documents Delivered -Jan 5
Application Received -jan7
Refused - Jan 20.

Please let me know the next steps on my application as I didn't see any update on https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv website

Drop Box status updated to Refused. Anyone faced this
