Toronto Consulate returned H1 docs for In-person interview
Hi,
We are Canadian PR and submitted our docs for H1 /H4 stamping and sent our docs to Toronto on June 21st drop box
July14th Consulate has updated that In-person interview scheduling is required.
When I see the dates I see no dates available for the year 2022.
How can I see or book dates in Toronto or any other place in Canada.

H1B Fresh stamping at Toronto - got 221G
Today I went for H1B fresh stamping in person interview and got 221-G. Anyone with similar experience please let me know so to know the next steps.
I was asked below questions by interviewing officer:
Which location you be working
Duration you stayed in US with previous visa L1
Duration you stayed outside US
Package in US
No mobiles and electronic devices allowed so whoever brought to consulate had to keep those stuffs at a nearby convenience store

Canadian PR and have US B1/B2 visa from Canada US consulate
From the official article, it said, an interview waiver is applicable for an H1 visa as long as the Canadian PR has a prior visa “ANY TYPE”. When I submitted my questions, I was asked to mail documents instead of an interview. Am I eligible for an interview waiver or I may get a rejection to attend an in-person interview? Received 221G at Toronto consulate
I went for an in-person appointment at the Toronto consulate today for my H1B visa. I was asked some basic questions about my job and then I was given a 221G. The visa officer said that no additional documents are needed from me or my employer and that they just need additional time to process. He also returned my passport back. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Does anyone know what is the usual response time? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

H1b Case in Admin processing - Passports mailed back (Vancouver)
We posted 2 H1bs (for me and my spouse) and 1 H4 (kid) for stamping, as we got interview waiver. For our kid, the H4 is issued while for both of us the status on ceac is still Admin processing. We got tracking number for all 3 passports today. Has anyone faced such scenarios? Is it just a miss that ceac website is not updated with Issued?

L1 and L2 visa application submitted in Toronto. L2 shows refused status
I submitted the application for L1 for myslef and L2 for my spouse visa through Dropbox in Toronto on June 13th. On July 8th the status on L1 changed to "Administrative Processing" and on L2 to "Refused". Anyone know why would it shows refused for L2. No communication from Consulate yet. We both are Canadian PR holders and live in Toronto.

Can we have visa stamping done in Canada under emergency appointment?
I wanted to ask if anyone has done this before and if it is doable. I have a Dropbox appointment in India for Oct this year. But I wanted to go to India urgently due to a family medical emergency. I tried to contact consulate to check if I can apply for an emergency appointment, but they said that Dropbox appointment can't be changed to emergency. I asked for having my appointment converted to in-person so that it can be expedited to emergency appointment, but they declined that as well.
Now my question is can I get a in-person appointment in Canada/Mexico for my H1B stamping and then have it expedited to emergency appointment?

Hi need suggestion on how the documents can be traced or how we can know what's happening with our documents
We had sent our documents for drop box to Canada - Toronto center through Fedex
Documents received as per Fedex : 21st June 2022
Until date there has been no update on my DS160
Can anyone with experience at Canada-Toronto center shed some light on how long it would take for the documents status to change to Received.
Also if there are any number we can reach out to know the status.

I have an appointment scheduled for the Ottawa Embassy but someone told me you cannot get your first time stamping in Canada as I have no PR and I am an Indian National. Can someone help me out?
