Waiting for passport after H1B visa interview

I had my H1B visa interview on December 16, 2021 and was notified that visa is approved at the end of the interview but still have not received my passport back. Status on the website still shows Administrative Processing. Interview was at consulate in Toronto.
Anyone else facing similar issues? Please share.

Cancelling H-1 interview for 1/25 at Calgary | 1/13 Noon MST
Doing my part for the community here.
I have an H-1 slot on 1/25 at Calgary that I will not be attending due to the COVID situation.
The slot is booked under traveling from a different country.
Not sure how exactly the appointments are released for the next person to pick up, but I wanted to throw it out there if anyone is trying to get one.
I will be canceling it tomorrow (1/13) at Noon Calgary time (MST). Hopefully, anyone needing one can pick it up.

Passport delivery - unavailable to pick up
Hi - Any one has any idea what happens if you are not available to pick up the passport due to personal reasons? Can someone else pick up on my behalf with my ID?

Is interview waiver for (Fresh) First H1B visa stamping in place for Canadian PR Residents ?
Hi All
I was wondering if anyone who is a canadian PR resident and wanted to get the first stamping for his/her H1B visa got an interview waiver from US consulate after the new rules for H1B visa interview waivers were announced in the last week of Dec 2021 ?
I know for sure that the visa portal got updated around Jan 6th and the folks who booked their appointments between Dec first week and Jan 6th might be in grey area in terms of interview waiver process. I presume that it might be the case that these folks are waiting for their visa appointment when they qualify for interview waiver. Howver, there are no clear guidelines for such people in terms of should they cancel their existing visa appointments, and update questions on portal to check if they qualify or continue waiting for the date of visa interview with no surety if the appointment shall be cancelled at the last moment.
Please suggest or comment if you have any additional information about this.

Toronto - VISA stamping timeline

I am not a Canada resident. I have an in-person interview for L1 in Feb in Toronto and have a question about the overall timeline. From the feedback I am seeing, it is taking up to a month for the passports to arrive even after the approval. Has anyone received their passport in 5 days recently? For non residents, do you have any suggestions for long term stay in Toronto?

Canadian resident, sent 4 applications for me, my spouse, and 2 kids.
Timeline:
Documents sent by Canada post - 12/29
Documents received by Consulate - 12/30
DS-160 tracker status (CEAC) - "No status" since beginning
I will update this thread when the status changes. Pls add your dates if you had sent the application at similar time as mine.

Ottawa Consulate - Received email to appear for in-person appointment after sending documents as per Interview waiver program for H1B visa stamping
Has anyone faced this situation where they received email to appear for in-person appointment after sending documents as per IWP. I haven't received my passport back though and passport is listed as one of the document to bring for the interview. Not sure what to do in this situation as I already submitted my passport earlier as part of initial documentation requested.
Have dropped the email to consulate already but not sure when will I get the response as I only have 2 days left for the interview, which consulate only scheduled themselves.

How do I pay the Fraud fees of 500$ if I am using the dropbox option?
Do I need to send a bank draft? or will the courier charge me for that fees at the drop location.
