H1-B renewal stamping - interview waiver - Ottawa
I travelled from the US to Canada to apply for H1B renewal stamping from the US Embassy in Ottawa. As a Canadian PR, I was able to prove my Canadian residency and hence secured an interview waiver. I just had to mail in my documents. I also opted to deliver my passport back to the place I was staying instead of having to go pick it up. Here is my timeline:
11/15 - Dropped in my passport with requested documents and application at Canada Post.
11/16 - Delivery failed due to processing error.
11/17 - Delivery re-attempted and delivered.
11/22 - Sent email to consular services at US Embassy in Ottawa asking for status. Got reply within an hour saying it will take 4 - 6 weeks to process mail-in cases.
12/08 - Case created on the CEAC application tracker and status changed from 'No Status' to 'Application Received'.
12/13 - Case Last Updated date changed to current date, but status still said 'Application Received'.
12/14 - Status changed to 'Administrative Processing'.
12/15 - Status changed to 'Issued'.
12/16 - Got email from U.S. DoS visa system confirming dispatch of passport and tracking information. Got another email from Purolator with the same information.
12/17 - Passport delivered to me.

Hi - I have submitted my documents to the US embassy in Ottawa and it was delivered on 12/14/2021. When I check the status on https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx it shows "No status".
I used UPS to get the documents delivered instead of Canada Post. Any one else in a similar situation or has been through this? I understand it might take longer due to the holidays. How long does it typically take to update the status to "Application Received".
Also I am in Toronto but I had put Ottawa on DS160 as I was planning to visit there initially and therefore documents are sent to Ottawa. Is it ok that I put Ottawa location? My passport return address is Toronto.

DS-160 status suddenly disappeared
Only starting today DS-160 status check is showing "Your search did not return any data." I was seeing some status as of yesterday. Anyone has seen this before ?

After Stamping- are Covid test results required on land Canada-US border to enter US
Hello everyone, do we need to have covid test report like rt-pcr or rapid test to cross US land border after stamping in Canada or Vaccination proof is enough. Did anyone cross Canada US land border after stamping and entered US recently and were they asked for negative test results?

I submitted my documents to Toronto for dropbox on 12/6. As per courier it was delivered on 12/7. I don't see any status on the tracker yet.

Hi, I had my H1B visa appointment on 12/02. My visa got approved. I have not yet received the tracking number. I have selected pick up location as Canada post close to the visa consulate itself.
Can someone let me know how long after the visa interview they have got the passport in Toronto location?

Hi! While filing DS-160, do we need to fill out all the previous work and school email addresses as well?
