Any recent petition based work visa interviews at Halifax Consulate?

H1b stamping - Dropbox Eligibility Toronto
Hi guys,
I believe I am eligible for dropbox based on other experiences.
Does the option to select dropbox prompted before or after paying the application fee?
After answering all the questions, it took me directly to the fee payment page and on the right was text stating appointments available starting September 2022 for Toronto and other embassies in Canada.

H1-B Visa stamping - Dropbox - Toronto
Hi Guys,
I applied for H1-B stamping in Toronto. I was eligible for Interview waiver so I was asked to send my passport and other documents to US consulate in Totonto.
Document dropped at Canada Post - Oct 1st, 2021
Document delivered to US consulate in Toronto (as per Canada Post tracking) - Oct 5th, 2021
CEAC status changed to "Application Received" - Oct 6th, 2021
There has not been any update since then.

H4 Visa appoinment in Calgary question
Hi, I have an upcoming H4 visa appointment in Calgary and a little about me :
- I am an Indian citizen working in Canada on Work Permit
- My husband is already in US and has an approved H1B
- I previously had F1 visa and moved to canada recently
Can someone help me with the following questions or share their H4 Visa experience
- Are H4 appointments being honored in Calgary ?
- Do I need to update DS-160 since the location on my DS-160 is different from Calgary ?
- Can I get my H4 visa stamped even though this is my first time applying for US visa from Canada but I had a F1 in past ? I read some posts where they mention first time stamping not allowed
- I plan to stay in Canada for few more months even after getting H4 and continue travelling back and forth from US, will that be a problem during my interview ? What should I tell them about my current job and future plan of moving to US ?
- What all documents are MUST for H4 visa appointment in Canada ?

First H1b interview - Calgary- Expedited appointment

About my previous stay as a f1 student, He tried to verify if i has stayed legally when i was in the US, I provided him my OPT cards and he verified, typed something for 2 min and said visa is approved.
Except passport, nothing was asked.
I'm a Canadian PR , working for the same company when i was in US and in Canada. Going back to the same US branch.
Tip : Carry every document you have, i kept my OPT cards in the last moment and that helped me getting the visa else i would have gotten a 221g for sure.

H1B Appointment cancelled email for Ottawa
Hello All,
Last night received an email that my Visa appointment scheduled for Dec'2021 will be cancelled. Not sure about the reason I have called the call center they have asked me to re-schedule it to another date if I find one. After many re-scheduling found this slot and now it is getting cancelled. Not sure if I am able to get another one atleast till next Nov'2022. I am travelling from US for the renewal and now this appointment will be cancelled. Can anyone of received this mail and got re-scheduled successfully. Please advise.

I am currently working in the US, have an approved I797 but an expired H1B stamp and planning to travel to Canada on my open work permit approval and join my spouse there for few weeks. I will be submitting my DS160 from Canada and hoping I will be eligible for drop-box as I meet the required criteria for H1b renewal. Anyone who has applied for renewal on an Open work permit in Canada and can share their experience? What are the chances I may be called for an interview? Incase, I am called for an interview, can I request an expedited appointment as I have a US citizen child who will miss his school?
