Oct 19 - Earliest appointment available was in September 2022
Oct 22 - EA request accepted
Oct 29 - Attended interview, CEAC status changed to Admin 'Processing'
Nov 5 - CEAC status changed to 'Issued'
Nov 8 - Passport ready for pick up
Very straight forward process, hopefully they will resume normal operations soon.

Questions about rescheduled appointment
Hello: I was wondering if anyone here could help me out with a few questions about rescheduled appointments.
1. I first scheduled an appointment/paid the MRV fee/created a DS-160 in January 2020, shortly before the borders closed due to covid. In the time since, I have continually canceled and rescheduled to accommodate border closures. Also, I switched jobs in December 2020 and created a new DS-160 in April 2021 to reflect that new petition number. I know the MRV fee validity has been extended to September 2023 but will this 2-year process of rescheduling/DS-160 updating trigger any potential issues during my interview?
2. Have there been any PIMS issues for anyone recently? I had that happen to me during my last stamping in India so was wondering.

H1B Stamping in Canada - Interview waiver
Hi,
I moved to Canada on work Permit while my H1B extension was in progress and now I have to undergo stamping for approved H1b extension.
Please note that I am an Indian citizen, and had done 3 previous stampings and 4 extensions on H1b Visa.
When I applied for scheduling interview, instead of asking me to schedule the dates, it directly asked me to send documents via courier.
Since this is the first time I am hearing this mail in documents processing:
1. Was this introduced recently? I am asking this as my colleague underwent stamping in April-May 2021 and he had to schedule interview.
2. Do I need to send origional I797 document or its copy?
3. Do we need to mail in additional supporting documenst like LCA copy etc to support our case? Its written not to, but still I am not sure.
Please advise and thank you for all the help.

IWP: Courier Location vs. Original DS 160 location
I have dropbox option available to send documents. Does anyone know if the location to send documents need to be match with the DS160 location?

Hi,
I currently live in US but I have a Canadian PR, can I send my documents from US for dropbox processing OR
Do I have to go to Canada and send my documents from there?
Also, do I need to physically reside in Canada for dropbox eligibility?
My visa is in same category and was stamped from Canada first time.

Do Canada PR/Cit have a shorter waiting time than all others ?
I heard waiting times are shorter for Canada PR/Citizens at US posts in Canada ? Is it still true for after covid ?

L1A Interview in Toronto
Hi All
I appeared for my L1A interview at Toronto office on Oct 22, 2021. My Visa was approved by the officer and I was told that I will receive my passports back within a week. I was not handed over any other form like (221(g)) neither i was asked to provide any additional info. Since the day of my interview, my visa status is in Administrative Processing on CEAC website. Status has not changed since. Is any one else in the same boat? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Ottawa-Non immigrant visa petition
Hi
I was able to book a visa appointment in Ottawa for my H1 visa.
Later i saw in embassy website that they have mentioned this clause "Nonimmigrant Visas: Student and Exchange Visitors, Diplomatic and Official Visas, all other categories emergency only" against ottawa location.
Does this mean my appointment is not valid?
Has anyone recently done any H1/L1 visa appointment in Ottawa?
