Parents visitor visa
Hi...
My father will retire in 2-3 months..
I am submitting DS160 for him and mother...

My question is if i fill DS160 with information that he is working currently... so if VO asks for NOC or leave dates.. then he can say that he will visit USA after retirement...Right??

or should i select retired in DS160... i think that's wrong as we have to enter current information...

Please suggest

Confused
Hi I am yet to apply for my visa. I'm applying from Accra, Ghana and in 2015 I travelled to Nigeria for a film festival
Earlier this year in August I visited my grandparents in Uk for a period of 30days,later in October I also represented my country in London for a competition with the same Visa for a period of 4 days. My Uk visa is still valid and doesn't expire until February 2017.
My present circumstances is I'm a non-working student in my final year with 8 more months to complete. My biological sister is a US citizen and has sent me all relevant documentation for the application for the purpose of visiting her at her new matrimonial home this Christmas since I missed her wedding in July because of school being in session. in addition my father who is a traditional ruler(chief) is taking full responsibility for my trip between both countries as well as spending money whiles my sister will host me at her matrimonial home whiles I'm in US for a period of 2 weeks during the Christmas at her permanent residence.
Also the company under who's ticket I represented Ghana in October for the competition in London is willing to sponsor my trip to to support our representative for the Miss World competition happening this December in Washington DC. Miss World has sent a letter of invitation. We are applying as a group as other people want to go and support as well. Can I get suggestions on which of these two applications I should apply with and why that will increase my chances of getting the visa. Your suggestions are very much needed. Thanks

When should I re apply?
My interview on 22nd November at karachi American embassy got rejected under 214b section. My interview went like this.

VO (she was a female): why do you want to go to US?
Me: for tourism purpose and to meet my brother.

VO: for how long?
Me: 30-40 days as I have to be back my 20th Jan and to join back my office by 23rd of Jan.
(She didn't pay attention to what I was saying regarding my job)

VO: are you married?
Me: NO

VO: have you ever travelled outside Pakistan?
Me: (didn't get her question so asked her to repeat) she repeated and I said yes been to UAE.

That's all she asked. And quickly gave back my passport and 214b form saying we are sorry we cannot grant the visa at this time. Even though I had prepared a lot and had carried all the supporting docs that my brother and sister in law sent for me.. affidavit of support, leave letter, my mum's medical report etc etc. What went wrong? I'm planning to re apply soon.. as I have got the leaves from office till jan 20th, 2017. I would have assured her that I would be back but she didn't ask any question regarding job and all. Plus my brother has file a petition for my mum and dad's immigration. Was this the reason that I'm unmarried ? Or what please guide and help me. My age is 23.

Need Help Regarding Salary & Other Income in DS-160
Hi Everybody,

i need your help regarding salary and other source of work income , i am working full time for I.T company and getting salary from them on monthly basis but i am providing I.T Networks & Security consultancy too to my other customers and this is freelance work not second business and its not registered anywhere so in DS-160 form can i mention my freelance income with my salary amount combined ? i want to write both source of income on form because it can help me during interview.

In DS - 160 form there is option to write only 1 thing like " Business / Employed / or anything " . Please let me know your experiences in this regard i am getting 86,000 PKR net income and from my free lance work i am getting 60,000 PKR per project and normally i got 3 to 4 projects in a month.

If there is anything to mention or add both source of income then how can i show them as a proof for my free lance work ?

Thanks
