tourist visa
Hie
I am a 22 years old girl planning to apply for a tourist visa in 3 days.I got married like 8 months back.my husband left to USA (dallas) three days back on business requirement from his company.its a one month trip.is there any chance of getting visa? Though my purpose of visit is tourism should i mention that my husband is already in dallas if the VO asks about my husband?
good day , i,ll like to ask this question ; 1. who is sponsoring your trip? 2. how much do you expect this trip will cost you?
base on this two question am earning #243,000 monthly and #2,916,000 annually and i av wife and two children and they are not accompany me how will i answer this question above please advise
3. is it good to say visiting and tourist , if i may ask, why do you want to travel to US? and i have B1 B2 visa vee.
4. will your wife and children accompany you on your trip? if i say NO and they ask why, what should be my response?
5 why must you visit at this time? and am traveling around December and am a Muslim with bears, what should be my response
6 why do you want 1 year visa when 3 week is okay for you?
7 how long has it been since the last time you met your friend? what should be my response?
My appointment will be next week in Cairo, Egypt, and I managed to collect all supporting documents required. I plan on visiting 3 states for tourism only, and attending a concert or two at Vegas.
However, after reading many experiences here I would like to know what would be the perfect response for some questions regarding my case.
I am an undergraduate at a dentistry university here who's in second year out of five and I have a transcript with excellent GPA, which would show that I do not want to lose it by staying in USA and a letter from the university, my Mother and Sister live in Egypt while my Father is in Kuwait, and no relatives whatsoever in USA, plus we live in a house owned by my Father, so are those social ties enough to convince them?
I also travel about 2 times yearly to Kuwait for the past 15 years, have an Indian visa which I did not use and a Bulgarian visa which has a stamp of entry and departure.
I will submit my parents' bank statements and in addition my Father made a deposit of a sum of money to my bank account, which I shall submit too, so I'm planning to say that this deposited money in my account will be used while I'm in USA, which is the truth, so is that correct? In addition I'll submit my supplementary credit card. The amount of cash present is thankfully more than enough whenever I ask anyone, so I hope that I covered this point well.
I have airline bookings, and hotels too for the intended states. I also have a ticket for a show in Vegas that I purchased online, which I may bring it with me to further proof that I intend to go on tourism solely. I may write an itinerary too, or is it not needed?
Regarding the questions, I shall travel during my midyear vacation which is 2 weeks long, and alone, so I expect being asked the following:
1) Why during this time period?
I shall answer that this is the only vacation when I'm free, and I'm not free during Summer vacation due to dental training
2) Why alone?
I shall answer that this is due to my Father being busy at Kuwait, and my friends who have a US visa aren't planning a trip to USA during this time
3) Who is financing it?
I shall state that my father shall pay the tickets and hotels prices, while I shall cover my expenses there with the money he deposited in my bank account
Are those good answers or will they not believe me? In all honesty those are the reasons and I did not make that up for them to gain acceptance.
Finally, as this is something that is really scaring me, should I submit the documents directly when I talk about any reason? For example when I mention college should I submit my letter and transcript? When I get asked about costs should I submit the bank statements? Will this come off as desperate or will the VO think I'm just well prepared and organized?
My appointment was on 4 Nov and visa was rejected (b2 medical treatment)i think the reason was VO asked me to provide total cost of treatment.hospital didnot issue me that letter.here is my interview experiece.
VO: good morning
ME: good morning
VO: please pass yr passport
ME: i pass my passport through windows.
VO: why u r going to USA?
ME: for medical treatment
VO: what is name of hospital ?
ME: i told the name of hospital.
VO: why u chose this hospital?
ME: i search this hospital on internet and find the doctors very qualified then others.
vo: ok..how much is the total cost of your treatment ?
ME: little bit confused because the hospital did not issue me that letter of total cost and i explained thatwhy they did not provide me (they told me first u have to come to hospital we will take yr tests and after that we will able to tell u )but she did not satisfy with this answer and start typing and finally she said sorry we cannot issue u visa on this time.and i left the window says ok..
now i want to ask u all that i want to apply again.i should apply now or i should apply after 2 or 3 months later.and pplz also suggests for me i should apply on same reason or i must change with tourist visa .
alone or with wife.
and plz tell me wht was the reason they rejected.
Hello everybody, I am really hoping to have some advise or some of you have experience that will help me decide what to do.
So..
I have 10 year B1/B2 visa(ends 2020), I have been visiting USA several times in the past 6 years of it, but during my last visit which was 8months ago I`ve been pregnant and something went wrong, so the OB here in New York told me that its so dangerous for me and for the baby to fly back home, so I had to stay here and I gave a birth to my wonderful son even one month early. Thanks God he is well and healthy!!! Now I have to comeback to Europe and catch up with my business and etc. Our pediatrician says that he wants us to comeback in USA for my sun revaccination, which will be 2 months after we leave USA, my question is will I have a problem to enter USA again, when I am a B1/B2 holder and my son is a U.S. Citizen?
Thanks to everyone who spent his time to read my story, hopefully u can give me advise about it.
Today i had a B2 tourism/medical visa interview with wife and 5 yrs old daughter refused at US consulate in dubai, VO officer was a very young girl, People say that VO is very experienced and he can read your face micro expression but she didnt even seem to look towards us, she was constantly just typing in the computer.
Me Good morning Ma'am
VO good morning
Vo Pass passports please
Me gave
Vo why u wanna travel to america
Me basically tourism and to celebrate our wedding anniversary and hopefully white christmas
(answered as ppl suggested here to keep it simple, if vo needs further info then they will ask)
Vo where are u working
Me educational firm , its a school
Vo how many years
Me 7 years with this school as an accountant but with same management since i landed in UAE 10 yrs ago.
Vo so u r here since 10 yrs
Me yes Ma'am, ur right.
Vo whats your monthly income
Me 10k plus dirhams monthly
VO to my wife : where r u working Ma'am
i replied : she is a housewife
Vo she is also here from 10 yrs
Me: no we r married since 7 yrs and in dec we celebrate our 8th anniversary, so she is here ever since our marriage and my daughter from 5 yrs ever since she was born.
VO : did you travel before as a family in last 5 yrs..?
Me yes Ma'am we travelled to Georgia and offcourse UAE and Pakistan
Vo u have any other family member in UAE
Me yes my DAD, IN UAE since 35 plus yrs. and 65+ age
VO is he living with you
Me yes and working in the same firm.
Then she stopped questioning and just kept typing, i guess they have some super awesome computer, offcourse its american visa , they have may be access to all secret information of every person, i guess they have data for every person already through their sources.
At the end she replied that i am sorry sir under section 214(b) your visa is refused( Looking in computer screen, i guess reading the reason from computer)
Donno who is sitting on the other end of computer...?
When i asked whats the reason
she replied due to economic and family ties..!!
I replied that i am carrying bank st. please have a look,
she replied no need for that sir..
I feel its unfair because i was not even allowed to prove myself as financially strong with the heavy bundle of documents that i was cayying, she did not even ask for a simple paper.
I mentioned a hotel address on contact details in ds160 form and did mention if i know anybody in US, because people told me not to disclose your relatives in US,
Here people suggested me to apply with my family, it will make my case strong, did so but no use.
What should i do..? Apply alone cant get visa.. with family cant get visa..? what the hell we should do..? i am in UAE from 10 yrs which shows strong ties, daughter going to school, wife not working which shows i earn good to manage the cost of living in UAE.. father also in UAE, had with me healthy bank statement.
What could be the possible reason..? Any help or suggestion will be highly appreciated..??
And how i can improve my case..?
Did i select wrong visa category..? B2 tourism/medical..?

This web page had been of great help throughout, from Filling out DS 160 form to information regarding passport pickup after visa approval. So, the entire procedure is not as complicated as people think it is. I applied alone two years back when I was in the middle of my housejob, I got rejection under 214b. I planned to apply again this year, but with my two sisters and parents. I filled out the form with accurate information. Experienced some problems while scheduling my appointment. The calendar would not show dates to choose from. I waited for a day and then emailed the consulate. They resolved the issue the very next day. I collected all the documents which I thought they might ask for during the interview, which included my dad's financial statements, work documents (income tax, properties documents), 10 years travel history, list of siblings, letter from school, invitation from my relative who we were visiting and his passport copy. Our interview lasted hardly got 5 mins. Initially the VO questioned my dad about his work, our purpose to visit and then about our relative who lived there. After that we all were asked about what we do. And that's it.. we were done. The visa officer issues us a slip saying that our visa got approved and we would be informed about the passport pickup within a week via an email. They emailed us on the third business day.
I'd like to convey to all that be honest with your information. This gives you confidence when you appear for the interview. Apply, when you have enough reasons to prove that you would get back to your hometown after a temporary visit. Also, the decision is preliminary. During the interview, they just confirm the information you fill in the form.
My Family is in US i.e. My Parents and siblings. I already have a B2 Visa and I want to apply for my wife and 3 kids for b2 visa so they can visit the grandparents/ in-laws. My wife is housewife and has no job, I will be sponsoring the trip to US. Any helpful comments.
