Need some Help!

First of all, Thanks immihelp! This is a great forum!

My sister is appearing for her US Visitor visa on July 15. I needed some help regarding that. She is married 30 years old and she is applying for a visitor visa for herself and her son. My brother in law is not coming with them. I filled up the DS-160 form and listed myself as the sponsor of trip as my brother-in-laws monthly income is low comparatively.

I wanted to know what would be the best way to answer if the VO asks her why her husband is not sponsoring the trip. Also, if the VO asks who is sponsoring should she say just my name or say that my brother in law will pay for her tickets and pocket expenses but I will take care of her living expenses here. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Query related mother-in-law's VISA
Hello Everyone. My mother-in-law is 61 years old and a widow. Her VISA has been rejected twice from Mumbai consulate on the grounds that she is not able to prove her strong ties back to home country. she has two daughters. The younger one is still unmarried and staying with her.

I have the following questions:

1. Me and my wife are going to India this December for re-stamping our VISA extension. I am on H1B and she is on H4. Should I apply again for my mother-in-law's VISA with us. Is it advisable?
As her VISA has already been rejected twice, we wont be able to add her (system does not allow us to add her) as a family member in our DS160 form, so should we add ourselves in her DS160 form as family members?

2. there is no change in her DS160 form. Does that matter?? Can consulate officer reject the VISA on the grounds that there is no change in DS 160 form from previous application?

Please give me your valuable advice.

Experience Jamaica B2 Visa
I want to share my experience as the experiences of so many others have assited me greatly in the past weeks leading up to my visa appointment. Thank you all.
I applied for the B2 Visa for tourism purposes. I went to the embasy in Kingston Jamaica for a 7 am appointment. I arrived 15 minutes before the appointment time and my photograph and DS-160 form was checked by the office outside the embassy. everything was in order and I was directed to the entrance of the embassy where you have to go through a security check point. I went through and was given a number on the inside to await fingerprinting. You wait in a line and the a visa officer directs you to an open window. The officer was very pleasant.

VO: Good Morning, Passport please
Me: Good Morning (smile and handed over passport)
VO: What is you purpose of travel?
Me: To visit my family and vacation
VO: (Types something in computer)

I was then 10 printed and directed to wait outside.

After waiting for about an hour I had my interview, this is how it went.

VO: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning
VO: Passports please?
VO: Who are you going to in the United States?
Me: I'm visiting my family in bloomfeild connecticut, they live in ( insert adress here)
VO: When was the last time you visited America?
Me: December 2008 and October 2008 before that
VO: (typing on computer for about 2 mins)
VO: Where do you work and what is your monthly salary?
Me: I'm and YYYY at XX company for the past two years and I make XX amount gross monthly and XX amount annually.
VO: Who do you live with?
Me: My girlfriend (insert name here)
VO: Where does she work?
Me: XX company doing XX
VO: Do you have children?
Me: *giggles* No i dont. (being in a same sex relationship i found this question a little odd)
VO: When are you graduating from school
Me: Next year November
VO: Okay we're going to go ahead and approve your visa, We'll mail it on out to you.
Me: Thank you!!! (smiles)

The interview lasted about 5 mins. Be honest and relaxed. Look the Visa Officer in the eye. Remember everything you wrote on your DS-160 form. I was not asked for any documents. I should get my visa within 5 days. I hope everyone else is succesful aty their interviews. I left the consulate at 8.30 am

B-2 Visa for America
Hello there. Me and two of my friends are travelling from Northern Ireland to America in less than three months and are looking to get a B-2 Visa for six months and then continue onwards to Australia after that period for a year. We already have our working visas for Australia granted in hours.

We've to go to interviews with American Consulates before hand to get the Tourism visa approved.
Out of the three of us, i'm the only one with family there whom i'll be saying i'm staying with from time to time back and forth throughout the travelling across America

We were just wondering how hard it would be to actually get the Visas approved and what sort of questions they'd ask. Our main worry is that they'll ask to see documents of the funds we've saved and deem them not enough, but in our calculations we seem to have enough to sustain us for we mightn't be staying for the full six months but just over the three months. We've heard there main concern is people planning to stay longer, which we do not.

Any information you can tell us about Visa interviews would be great, thanks.

Here are details:

Applied at: Dubai.
Working for the good organization here in UAE.

We: Good morning.
VO: Good morning.

VO: Why you want to go to US.
Me: To meet my sister and for tourism.

VO; What's the status of your sis. She is green card or passport holder.
Me: Citizen/ Passport holder.

VO: How she got her passport.
Me: After marriage.

VO: where you people visited together earlier.
Me: Malaysia and Srilinka & recently Oman.

VO: When you went to Australia?
Me: 2012.

VO: Why you wife was not traveled with you to Australia.
Me: We were not married at that time. Traveled before wedding.

VO: Can I see you bank statement:
Me: Showed.

VO: How long you are in UAE?
Me: 1 year 4 months.

VO: and earlier to that?
Me : Karachi , Pakistan.

VO: After typing long on her computer, she replied 'unfortunately we can't give you visa'
Reason: You have recently move to UAE and travelling with complete family hence we are not giving visa to such people.
