Incredibly impressive !
My spouse along with 2 kids, aged 5 and 6, appeared for the interview at the New Delhi US Embassy- they were allowed to enter in as early as 9AM albeit their interview was slated to begin at 10AM. Our closest consulate was Chennai, however we selected Delhi as I've my travels in the 1st week of May 2017 and this was the earliest slot available at any consulate in India.

Spouse (and kids too) were well-prepared based on the number of experiences documented here which would proved to be hugely beneficial.

This is how the conversation went-

Spouse: Good Morning
VO: Doesn't greet back

VO: What is the purpose of your visit?
Spouse: Replies it's to accompany me on my business travel, and it's also vacation time for kids.

VO: Where does your husband work and as what?
Spouse: He works as a YYYY at YYYY

VO: Does your husband have a visa?
Spouse: Yes

VO: Could I please see a copy?
Spouse provides my color visa copy

VO: How many times has your husband travelled to the US?
Spouse: He has been to the US 3 times

VO: Which stay was the longest?
Spouse: The 1st one where he stayed for around 3 months

Spouse stated she noticed that the VO was slightly taken aback when she stated 3 months, and she continued to state that he travelled across many States for leadership/business meetings with stakeholders.

VO: Congrats, your visa is approved !

Praise GOD that this was a seamless and smooth experience- we carried a truckload of documents, and all that was asked was my visa copy !

Glad to answer any queries you may so have.

B2 Visa for parents and sister got rejected in Mumbai consulate
Interview: April 20th 8:30 am
Hello,
I had invited my parents and one unmarried sister to stay with us in USA on B2 visa.Unfortunately their visa got rejected in 3-4 questions. I have been staying in US for 15 years and we applied for this visa for first time. The VO asked my dad why he never applied for visa in 15 years. My dad said he had other duties.VO asked when did he retired , dad answered in 1999. VO asked my sister whether she is married , she replied that she is single. After that he handed them the rejection form 214(b).

Can someone advise me on - what went wrong ? If I reapply next month what are the chances of approval for them ? The 15 years gap and single status of my sister will not change so in that case what document they can provide to VO to confirm that they will come back home? Please advise.
Thanks!

Visitor visa for mother and unmarried and unemployed sister
I want to invite my mother and sister to visit me in USA. I am on J-1 visa and want to apply together for my mother and sister. My mother is housewife and my sister did MBA but she does not work and has no plan of working in future.

They will be travelling together. Is it good idea to apply visa together. I heard that it is difficult to get visitor visa for unmarried sister.

Will counselor officer reject visa for both (my mother as well as sister)?

Should I apply separately?

What can I do make my case strong?

B2 Visa application from Dubai in the payment/interview booking stage
I am an Indian working in Dubai and am applying for a US B2 Visa from Dubai.
I have completed the DS-160 and have proceeded to the Payment/Appointment booking stage.

Here there is a question " Were you previously issued a visa to enter the United States?"
I have said YES as I was in the USA on a H4 visa. This visa was issued on 23 Apr 1996 and valid till 01 Nov 1998.

However, the drop down for the Visa Issued Date is from 1997 onwards only and does not go to 1996.

What can I do to solve this issue?
