Truth, presentation, you should dress according to your job title, sure eye contact but in my case I lost once, when VO ask how long your son is there? I replied with slight turn my face to my wife lost eye contact with VO then back to VO, answer all question in natural way instead of like robot.

I am 34 year old widowed female living with mother in Delhi and working in one of the MNC in gurgaon as a senior analyst. Salary is just 25k pm. One of my friend invited me to visit him and he is the one bearing all the travel expenses. he is got citizenship of US and living in US from past 15yrs. I first met him in 2013 in friend's gathering and recently met him in the month of nov this year on his India visit. I have apprix $4400 in my account and we have property in my native place but on my mother's name. I just want to visit him and may visit some nearby places with him and will have to join my work back and as i have to look after my mom I have to get back.. Just need to know what are the chances for my visa selection and rejection. Please guide

Applying B1/B2 visa for third time. Plz guide
I am medical doc n got visa approved lwice before. Once in 2006 and then in 2011. Now after expiry , applying for third time. Interview is on 21st December. Doing job in Govt sector and doing own clinic in evening. Have visited US only thrice in last 10 years, and every time for less tha a month. Have siblings in US, one is citizen and one GC holder. Previously wrote that "Other Person" sponsoring trip and when was asked that its about staying n lodging/dining as both have their own residences there. I have only to buy ticket, and VO accepted that. Secondly in past too, I mention actual salary of what I get from "Govt Department" which is NOT above Rs 50K and when was asked that its just salary, otherwise,I earn much high from own practice and was accepted too, so both times visa approved. My query is this time too, in ds-160 I have entered the same replies, Though got I-134 affidavit and have all the documents in hand to show what I do n own.
I am 42 yo male, married have family,kids in Pakistan NOT applying/going with me. Just got skeptic, that whether should I have written replies of above two questions this way.? AFTER 15SEC VO RETURNED MY SPONSOR LETTER AND MY OLD PASSPORT WITH GOLDEN WORDS , SIR I APPROVED YOU VISA YOU WILL GET TEXT FROM ARAMEX COURIER.

Solid reason
Hi freinds sry for asking a question again. this question specially for coolpact. My friend coolpact you told me my salary 1000e it's not enough for applying visit visa. And you told me I need a solid reason to apply. So plzzz tell me what kind of reason I can use. Plzzz reply me . Thanks. I am a non working student reading XYZ in my final year hoping to complete in June 2017.
My biological father is sponsoring my trip
My half sister is a US citizen and had her wedding in June 2016
but I was unable to attend alongside my other siblings because I had school work. And now that I have a break, she has sent me an
invitation to spend the Christmas and new year with her at her new matrimonial home.
I intend spending 20 days
Also I stated in my ds160 that I intend traveling on the 20th only to get my
interview date for 22nd (is this going to cause my Visa to be refused?)
I still have a valid Uk visa that expires in Ferbuary and I have travelled to the UK twice this year and once to Nigeria in 2015.
What are my chances and likely questions to be asked during the interview ?
How do you suggest I phrase my purpose of travel ?

Applying for B2 Visa (Tourist)
I have decided to visit the US as a tourist next summer. I've asked this from different people they said i don't need to be employed to get US visa, but i am still not satisfied, thus i would like to be really sure before i apply for the visa. I have children here in europe Ireland, i will be getting married to mother of my children in a month's time. I am currently unemployed, but i am a 'Family Carer' because i have kids with disability so the government is paying me for caring for my kids with disability, and so i am not allowed to work full time. My partner is also a Family Carer as we are caring for our kids together, so same applies to her. Also i just finished a part time course and hoping to start another course part time. I have residency right here, my children were born here, my partner has residency here too, so we all reside here legally. I have been to England twice as a tourist and i have proof copy of my previous visas. My late dad was a US green card holder, my dad's second wife is currently US green card holder along with her 4 children, but i have no idea where they live in US, we don't communicate for years. Will i still declare i have relative in US? I'm gonna stay in a hotel during my visit in US so i will not visit any relative. Do i stand any chance of getting US B2 visa to travel as a tourist? I have bank statement that can show proof of all my income support from the government for both weekly and monthly payments, also from my partner. What can i work on to make my application stronger? thanks.

Change to DS-160 after scheduling B2 visa appointment
My mom has her B2 visa interview scheduled on 12/14. Just now realized that we have an error in her DS-160. She is a government school teacher but we have selected Primary occupation as “Education” instead of “Government”.
Is it possible to create a new DS-160 and update the visa appointment confirmation? or should we cancel and schedule a new appointment?
Will this affect her chances of getting her visa?
