DropBox Docs submitted on Jan 23rd. Never received an email on passport pick up. Checked it on Ustravel docs and it showed passport was ready for pick up. Collected on Jan 31st witha Green slip. Submitted all documents per slip on the 1st Of Feb.
AP: Case created jan 27th.

March 1st: Second update
March 2nd: Third update at about 2.30
Checked status of passport on ustravel docs and it said no status available.
March 2nd:Status changed around 4 to Ready and back to AP 15mins later (p.s Do not panic)
March 3: Morning status: Issued

My wife went for H4 Stamping in Hyderabad India today(Feb 10th 2017). she got a white slip which says
"your application requires additional administrative processing before a final decision can be made".
I have my I140 Approved, she has h4 EAD Card as well.
How long does it usually take ? Any one in the same boat ?

Interview was super smooth. Interviewer was impressed as i have MS degree from NYU. Then when I thought everything was smooth, she said admin processing is required and took my passport. She said it will take 1 week for the processing. Fingers crossed. Please let me know if anyone had similar experiences.
Update: On Monday Feb 27 I checked the status and saw that my passport is issued. I was so happy.
I collected my passport today ie 2nd March 2017. My passport was in admin processing for just 1 day. May be I am the luckiest guy. Thanks for your help guys.

Jan 9th 2017 - I went for dropbox. they verified my I797 and collected my passport.
Jan 13 2017 - Received mail for collecting passport. When I went for collecting I saw a blueslip with my passport asking for list of documents. They have asked more than 10 documents.
Feb 2 2017 - Went for consulate interview and submitted all necessary documents. The VO asked me to wait for sometime. After 45mins he gave one more blue slip stating my visa requires further Administrative processing.

But status is still showing admin processing from last 61 days. Wat is the extact time frame for this processing ? wait is killing !!!

Second time 221g. Last time got at Chennai, but this time at Mumbai. Is anybody in the same time line with green slip at Mumbai? This is my 6th time renewal and have 2x 221g's so far. Seems to be due to my field of work (Aerospace). Do we need to submit documents to ustravels email too? I dont see that on my slip.
Update - received email on 2/21/17 for submission of passport. Submitted passport on same day. VFS informed it takes 5-7 business days before i can get my pp back.
Update- Received pp with visa from VFS today. Good luck to everyone who is waiting for 221g approval, be patient it is only a matter of time.
"Update - Issued 2/23/17" - Status updated on ceac website, hope to get my pp back next week.

I was given a white slip 221g asking for the end client letter and other supporting documents. Case created date is 16th dec 2016 that is prior to the interview date (19th dec). I submitted all the requested docs at Delhi VAC on 21st dec but status date has not changed after 19th dec. Is anyone else in a similar situation at the Delhi consulate ?
1st CEAC Status update after interview date : 27th February/AP
2nd CEAC Status update : 28th Feb/Issued. Now waiting for my passport.
Took almost 70 days to get approval.
