First interview on 04/01/2017, passport was taken. I got a mail on 07/01/2016 to collect the passport from VFS. I collected on 09/01/2017. A white 221g slip was attached with the passport to come for another interview without making an appointment.
Second interview on 10/01/2017,passport was taken and I was given a pink slip to submit a document comprising of resume, itinerary invitation letter to an email([email protected]).
Submitted docs on 10/01/2017, the status is "ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING " since 10/01/2017.
Updated the date on 31/01/2017,status is "ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING"
Second status update under Administrative Processing on 03/02/2017 and status changed to "Issued" on 06/02/2017.

O-1 petition was approved in November 2016. Came to Mumbai for O-1 stamping and have been handed 221g green slip. I always get 221g. This is the third time. My major was Biomedical Engineering and therefore they always want to know more about my research.

All,
I had traveled to US on H4 in 2014... applied for H1 and it got approved there... done a job change in November 2016 and then came to india on vacation.
Appeared for interview on 27th Dec 16. Submitted petition copy, passport, approval notice and client letter during interviw and then VO
issued 221g slip.
After then no documents have been asked to submitted.
My status is also showing 27th Dec - admin processing ... no other status change... already 5 weeks completed.
Is there anyone with same exp.

My wife was interviewed on 20 th '16 in Kolkata US Consulate and at the time of interview the VO collected her passport and gave her a 221(g) white slip to submit her educational details (CV , M.tech papers etc etc) . She is a chemical engineer by profession. Also she was told that the administrative processing will take 3 to 4 weeks to complete. But it's more than one moth ; we have not received any update for the issuance of her VISA.

First update date : 18 th Jan '17
After that we are not getting any update further . I called the NVC , mailed to [email protected] ...but getting a generic reply of "administrative processing" . Not getting any specific time /date . Completely a bogus process .
