no status change until 2 weeks ago. Client verification was done and week later received consulate email to drop passport. iMMEDIATELY DROPPED PASSPORT and got visa issued 2 days later. Picked passport and all set to leave.

Had my H1 visa interview on 1/30/2017. VO asked basic questions and then asked for I797, client letter, LCA, I-129 application (made copies of the documents). Waited for 1 hour and then called to the counter and given blue slip and said no additional documents are required. Returned all documents along with passport. Status shows "Administrative Processing".
Received email to submit passport on 2/8/2017, submitted passport on 2/9/2017.

1st Feb- Client/Employer verification done
8th feb- Got email to submit passport
9th Feb- Passport Submitted
16th Feb- Visa issued , got email to pick up the passport.
17th Feb - Passport picked with new visa stamp.
22nd feb- landed in US.

I used dropbox facility in Delhi. I submitted my documents on 16th Jan, 17th Jan case got opened, 24th Jan, First update was made and the status read - administrative processing. My first f1 and h1 stampings were a cake walk but this time even it was for the same employer, i got stuck badly. I haven't got any update yet nor i have received any correspondence from the embassy asking for extra documentation or anything else. Not sure how long its going to take. I was supposed to return on 1st Feb.

i have attended the interview on 13-jan-2017. after the interview VO gave a blue slip and asked to submitt the documents mentioned in the slip. I had submitted the documents ( invitation letter, job description, Resume, position ..etc.) on 20-jan-2017.The status is still administrative processing. case created on 13-jan-17 and status update on 13-jan-17.
I don't know when this will get solved. The passport of mine and my wife are along with us. they returned the passport after interview.
on 10-Feb-17, I received an email from Mumbai consulate to submit passport for final processing.

Interview was on 04-Oct-2016, I switched end client on Mar 2015, but new LCA/H1B was not filed/amended because as per employer it was in same MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area), I went for stamping and VO asked for client letter which I did not have, waited around for couple of hours and VO gave me Blue slip with 221g asking for new LCA and Amended H1B docs. The documents were uploaded to cloud but that was not accepted and I had to send them again on 02-Nov-2016.
