11/23/2016 VO did not go through any document. After asking the usual questions like petitioner name, client name , salary, education ..gave the 221G blue slip saying it needs further admin processing
12/29/2016 - Got email from US Travel docs to collect the documents. Got another 221G asking for submission of passport.
12/30 - Submitted passport.. Hope I would get the Visa in another 1 week
1/5/2017 - Approved. CEAC Status shows Issued and got email to collect passport.

Went for Interview on 28th Oct. All was good, at last VO told me to submit Client letter in mail, I told I have client letter with me. But She said, we need client letter only in mail.
After that its 36 days and status is Administration Processing. Don't know which king of processing it is, for some its taking 7 days, for some its 7 months also.
Hope for the best, any one else near to 28th Oct 2016 !!!

22-Dec-16:- Client Replied with proofs.
28-Dec-16:- Got mail to submit Passport.
3-Jan-17:- Status Date Update only but still AP.

I've applied for a non-immigrant visa application H1B and attended the interview on October 27th, 2016 at American Consulate Chennai, India. The visa officer collected my I-797, I-129 and other immigration related docs like LCA in short intervals and later issued a blue slip called as 221(g) form with Additional Administrative Processing required checkbox checked on it.
The requested additional documents are sent on November 1st, 2016 and it's been more than 60 days since the application is in administrative processing. My case is updated with administrative processing as of December 16th as well. I haven't received any further update as of now and neither has my client received any verification e-mail or call.

I didn't have my resume with me. I mailed it to the embassy on the same day. They kept my passport at the consulate on the interview day and told me it would take at max 3 weeks but, still my visa is under Adminstrative Processing.

The VO said they don't need any other documents to process Visa application and handed a yellow slip of 221 (g) Administrative Processing. He asked to wait for a week. Give us a call if I don't hear back within week/ week and a half.
Update after issue- Yellow slip is typically the fastest processing slip (3-4 weeks) and we expected our visa soon. Thanks to this website that helped us process and track 221g blackhole.
