I wanted to share my experience regarding 221g. I had my interview on 1st Nov, 2016 when I was handed a yellow slip stating my visa is refused under 221g section. I was scared to hell as I was already working in US for a big company. However, I submitted all the documents on 4th Nov after business hours and immediately got an automated email stating they have received my documents it will take them couple of weeks to process.
1. case creation date: 28th Oct, 2016
2. Status update : 1st Nov (Administrative Processing)
3. Status Update : 1st Dec (Administrative Processing)
4. Status Update: 2nd Dec (Issued)
On CEAC webiste it says ISSUED. However, under it says " Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received in more than 10 days, please see the webpage for contact information of the embassy or consulate where you submitted your application." Does this mean visa has been issued and is under process for stamping or does it mean some more processing is being done?

Here are the updates people who were stuck with 221G/ Administrative Process
25 Oct 2016 => Submitted documents for H1 B renewal
27 Oct 2016 => Got a call and email for asking me to attend consulate interview
31 Oct 2016 => Attended the consulate interview ,Consulate officer gave me 221 G white slip ,not mentioned any documents to submit and returned the passport
31 Oct 2016 => Got a call from visa support desk and asked to share the couple of documents like I-797 A ,LCA ,I-129,I-140,Client letter and Vendor letter,Letter to UScIS at the petition approval.
03 Nov 2016 => Submitted all requested documents through provided email
14 Nov 2016 => Client received verification email for role and job duties

16 Nov 2016 => Client manager and HR responded to uscis
25 Nov 2016 => DS160 status updated and received an email for asking me submit passport and submitted the passport on 28 Nov 16
29 Nov 2016 => DS160 Status changed to issue and collected passport on 30nov2016

After issuing 221g blue slip, received an e-mail from consulate to send Client Invite Letter, Profile, Last 10 years travel and reporting manager details. Responded to the e-mail by submitting all the relevant documents requested on 2nd of Nov. But still I haven't heard any response yet.
I have done Masters in Physics during the interview VO officer asked about my CV which was not there with me and he asked about my subjects u studied, I told the subjects and VO asked does Nuclear Physics includes as one off the subject and I said yes.

This is Rajasekar Raja from India. I have got an admit from University of Southern California for Spring 2017 EE department in the field of Wireless Networks. When I have attended my F1 Visa interview on November 28th 2016, the Visa Officer asked me no questions. She simply checked my i20 and then gave back my passport and i20 with a 221g Hold.
My orientation for USC starts on Jan 3rd and i have like a month from now by which time i have to be there in the college. Otherwise my admission will be deferred. I see that the process might take 3days to 60days with an average of 30-40days for F1 visa candidates. While i see that the 221G process can never be quickened is there a way i can get this quickly done and join my university before the orientation starts?
Getting an visa offer after my admission from USC(which itself is a great achievement) is not really worth. Can you please help expedite this ?

Normally it changed once to AP and then it changed to Issued but in my case its already changed to AP twice but i don't what is the reason for same. I thought it would changed to issue but now it changed to "Ready".
I have not seen anyone status as "Ready" so don't know its meaning.
Anyone with similiar experience, please share.
Update:
My case has been resolved in 3 weeks. Waiting for the passports.

The interview was standard questions, have you traveled to the US previously? Why? What was your graduate degree in? Give me a minute, the system is still updating. What do you do at ____? Why are you extraordinary? When are you planning to fly back? Then issued a 221 G. Said it was a procedural thing done for a lot of folks. The sooner you submit, the sooner we can start the evaluation. Once done, you will be contacted. It will take a minimum of four weeks..
Completed my 4 weeks yesterday past document submission. Nothing yet.
