Asked to come for interview - March 12th
Appeared for Interview -March 13. I was asked basic questions about my job & company etc. and was given 221g yellow slip with list of documents - client letter, contract between client and employer, i-29, employer letter, detailed description of project.
I am on E-C model.
Documents submitted - March 15th.
No updates for 2 months. No status date change.
Email through senator. Last update date change for the first time, same day.
Again no update for 2 months.
July 17, client received questionnaire. Responded back within a day.
Aug 1 asked to submit new contract between employer and client.
Submitted contract copy on 9th Aug.
Asked to submit passport on 26th Aug.
Ready for pickup 30th Aug.

VO asked some basic questions then gave blue sheet asking for 1. contract between my employer and client 2. letter from our company end client 3. details description of the project to which i will be assigned.
what i dont understand in above questions are - i said, i work directly to my employer not for end client. daily i will travel to my employer office not to client location.
If anyone on same situation please let me know how we have to provide the documents. if you have any sample please share it in [email protected] it would be great help.

Attended visa interview on Jun 5. This is my second stamping for first H1 extension. Working with same employer for last 3 years. Initial F1 to H1 stamping with same employer.
Verified petition docs and gave blue slip with no docs marked
Below is the timeline:
05-Jun - interview (Last update ceac date)
12-Jun to 17-Jun - Client verification done
26-Jun - Received another 221g by email for proj desc and itinerary
10-Jul - employer sent the docs and received ack
05-Aug - 221g by email for other documents
08-Aug - Employer responded with docs
19-Aug- email from consulate to submit passport
29-Aug - Visa issued!
This is a painful journey and believe me this process is not in our hands. Try to contact consulate once in a while for status.
