I and my family visited India. I and my wife who is on H4 went to US consulate for Visa stamping. This is my fourth H1 Visa stamping interview while working for the same employer for the past 9 years. Interview wenk OK. Here is a snap shot -
VO: How long have you been working for this employer
Me: 9 years
VO: What do you use CFD software
Me: To simulate airflow for fans
VO (to my Wife): Hoe long were you marrie
Wife: 12 yr
VO: Whats your education
Wife: MBA
VO: how many kids
Wife: 2
Then the VO gave me a pink slip and kept the passport. I asked her how long it will take to process and she said it is case-by case basis.
I sent all the docs right away and got an automated email confirming receipt.
I am worried, my kids school starts in a few days and my dog is in boarding.

I am in Ukraine for vacation. I work in the US under approved H1B petition which is still valid. Went to the interview where was asked simple Q's like what do you do at work, are you here for vacation etc. Was given green and yellow slip asking for CV and publications and told to send by email which I did after collecting additional docs to support. I received automated reply saying they take 3 business days to review the email inquiry.I have not checked what the status was up until not and see that case created 8/19/19 (interview date), case update 8/27/19. The top portion says 'refused'. My wife's tracking says refused as well but with date 8/19/19. There are several things in my mind: either they have not even started admin processing or the visa was already denied... 8/27/19 is exactly 3 business days after I emailed the docs. Today is 9/4/19 and my passports were not received by me so I still have hopes they are going to do admin processing. Any thoughts are welcomed!

I had H1b visa interview at Hyderabad on 5/28/2019 and VO asked few basic questions like Employer(FTE with client) and salary, designation, work location etc and She was typing something in her system and suddenly she spoke with her supervisor for few min and then Issued 221 white slip with no additional docs asked she just took LCA, Employer letter and Tax Returns and returned passport.
July 5th- Case last updated date changed and the following week client verification done in July 2 nd week
July 27th- got call from consulate to attend Reinterview on July 30th
July 30th- Reinterview- VO Indian lady asked about my previous employment History and all the previous petitioner info as well as clients info and they asked me to write in a voluntary form and submitted same and VO mentioned they will update case soon
Aug 28- Still no update and it’s been almost a month since second interview and sent repeated follow up emails every week but only got standard email replies
Any suggestions?

This was my 5th H1B stamping. Never had any issues. First time.
All started with my education for the response what was my highest qualification. Masters in Nuclear Physics.
Have been in and out of USA since 2000.
Responded with documents on Aug 20.
Full time job with an multi-billion dollar insurance company.
Any one know the time frame?
08/26 - Got an email to submit the passport. The status is still administrative processing.
08/27 - Submitted the passport.

Updated date changed to 09/03 (again). Status is still AP
09/05 - Just saw that the status changed to "ISSUED"

From last 4 year I was in USA. I had Visa interview in Delhi along with my family on 03 July 19 and they issued 221g with blue slip asking Client Letter, Project details & service itinerary. Attorney submitted all docs on 23-July-19. It has been 4 week but no update. Even last updated date is not going to change. My client also did not received any verification from consulate. Anyone also has similar issue? It would be appreciable if someone can share their experience.
08/26 - Got mail to submit passport
08/27 - Submitted Passport Same evening Last updated date changes to 08/27 first time
08/28 - Status Changes to Issued
08/29 - got mail to collect passport. Collected same day

7/16: Received an email saying Gentle Reminder, which I felt as if they are asking for submitting the questionnaire again. so I submitted again. No update since then

VO said I will get email to fill the questionnaire and returned my passport. Received email after couple of hours and asked for 15 years (personal, professional, countries visited, phone no, email id ...) submitted questionnaire on same day(05/02), since then the status is showing AP...
Any one has similar issue? how many days it will take to approve, please share your experience for the same situation..

17th May 2019 :- Attended L1B individual visa interview. VO officer gave 221g blue slip requesting for more details like
Complete I-797, I-292 forms, LCA.
Project details, Petitioner and Employee details,

Job description, Specialized knowledge description.
11th June:- Docs sent via email. No update. Status is AP.
21st June:- Upon inquiry, the attorney received an email to share G-28 form. Shared on the same day.
21st Aug: No status change, still showing AP
23rd Aug: Received email to submit mine and family’s passport. Last updated changed to Aug 23
27th Aug: Submitted passports at Hyderabad VAC.
28th Aug: Last date updated again to Aug 28
29th Aug: Status changed to Issued.
3rd Sep: Passport ready for pickup and collected passports with visa stamp.
When your petition and interview responses are genuine, the visa will be issued irrespective of 221g delays. But just need to have patience & faith.
