Hi I apply for C1D visa as I'm seaman I have done my fingerprint scan on 7th June 2019 then 11th June I complete my interview. That day VO give me green slip 221g for PCC . I submit my PCC on 27 June after I got mail that your pp has been returned to voc . I pick my pp on 7th July again I get green slip 221g to submit my old passport and appear for interview again . I appear for interview on 8th July vo ask 2.3 question and said me to take your pp back or we keep your pp and inform you by mail or SMS then on 9th July I got mail to fill and submit DS5535 I fill and revert them back on 9th july. Since I'm checking my status is in administrative processing did any one know what I should do because I miss my joining on 20th July because of visa is pending . Please someone help me.

Hi, Had prior H1-B with my employer and then they applied for O1-A , so had to visit India to get visa stamped. On the day of the interbiew
VO: What criteria have you met for your O1-A
Me: Membership; Critical role in an Org; Original contribution ( in the mean time she was already reading and typing something)
VO: Can you explain your original contribution
Me. Spoke about my Original contribution and publication etc.
VO: ok, just a minute and steps away and brings the dreaded slip with her. Sir, we need additional evidence to approve you application,
July 15: Got an email to submit passport
July 16 : Case last updated field changed
July 22 : Case update changed to "Issued"
Advice: If you care too much, you will be paranoid, if you don't care, it will be easy to spend that time( Trust me I had a lot of riding on this visa, I have a house and car in that I had to keep paying EMI while in India, on 1 person salary for 4 month) Visa rejection would have meant almost $50K worth of loss

Opted for premium delivery. Received passport on July 14 via courier.
Thanks everyone who shared their experiences. Be patient, do followups, though it will give you standard reply. The 221g experience has made me realize that this is certainly not the life I want where there is so much stress and helplessness. Look for options other US.

Hi friends,
I had my visa interview on May 16th at Hyderabad consulate.
I was asked most common questions by the VO and it went very well.
VO asked me the client letter, as my client doesn’t provide the client letter due to the company rules
and regulations I have provided the SOW and MSA documents between my employer and client.
(I am a full time employee for the implementation partners and I don’t have any layers)
The VO checked the documents I gave and then returned my passport along with 221 G white slip.
I was not asked about documents after that.
On July 17th I got an email from embassy requesting my passport.
I have submitted it on July 18th and they mentioned that the process is complete and will receive an email with in 7-10 days.
The status still show the case is under AP but the last updated date changed to July 19.
Does that mean a positive sign ? Can I book my flight tickets in 1st week of August ?
Or is it still a no go situation ??

Fourth year on H1b, but first time stamping from F1 to H1b.
Attended the interview on the 8th. I am on a EVC model.
VO asked some basic questions and gave a smaller 221g white slip without any options.
VO Retained my passport and said it shouldn't take more than a week for their admin processing.
On July 12th received a email asking for LCA, client letter, and employment offer letter.
I was traveling so I submitted the documents on the 14th.
On July 15th I received my passport in mail with 221g white slip with the 3rd options checked requesting for the same documents. Submitted again on the same day.
Also on the 15th I received a call from HYDFPU requesting vendor letter, client letter, and LCA. Submitted the same day.
Case last updated still shows July 12th.
Not sure why my passport was returned. This wait is really painful.
Anyone in similar situation? How many days did it took for you guys?
