VO said that everything looks good, retained my passport and then asked me to check back CEAC site next week.

I work in Employer Client model and this is my third extension , .
1. Was eligible for dropbox , So submitted my passport for stamping on March 10th .
2. Received passport on March 19th with slip that my Visa has been denied under 221g and asked to appear for interview .
3. Appeared for interview on 26th , was asked basic question :
a. About my project , work .
b. My salary
c. My education
and handed me yellow 221 g slip to submit the documents .
Docs requested :
a. copy of contract between me and petitioner
b.Copy of contract between petitioner ( employer) and client.
c. Clinet letter specifying vacancy for me .
My petitioner submitted all these 3 documents on 28th . Have not received any update .
My client letter has email , So I reached to my client to inquire if anyone from USICS or Consulate reached out . So far no one has reached out.
No update as of today 04/12 .
Received email for final processing on 05/13 .
Submitted passport on 05/15 .

Hello everyone,
My wife applied for J1 visa on May 14th.
Background : She was previously on J2 until June 2019 and she got her I-797 for H4 after that. We haven't been to India until recently so she didn't get her H4 stamping in the passport. In the meanwhile she got her residency which requires J1.
Visa Interview : Regular questions. They took passport and visa and said that it needs AP. VO said it will be done in 3-5 business days. He took her passport / DS-2019 and said he doesn't need any further documents upon further questioning.
May 24th 2019 : No update. Tracking shows - AP. Upon calling the customer service, they said it will take 7-10 business days.
My wife's residency starts on Jun 17th. So we are worried if everything will happen in time.
Anyone else had similar experience.

I was on L1 from sep 2016 and got H1B. Opted for COS to H1B is effective from Oct 1st 2017.
At the time of my L1 I was asked to submit 15 year work and travel history, sibling details etc AP was cleared with in week.
Went to consulate on 20th Nov for H1B and again asked to give same details. (form 5535).
Replied with details on 21st nov.

Not sure where is this heading to .. but 221 g is crazy and like a black hole. Got yellow slip 221g and submitted all the client docs on April 4th. Still waiting. Anyone on the same boat. Lets discuss.
