After appeared 05/09/2019 drop box, I got 221g with in 2 days to attend in-person interview along with client letter, H1B docs, Employer agreements.
I appeared 05/23/2019 and VO asked basic questions like My Employer, Client details, salary and Vendor related information. Then VO went to next cabin and discussed with other officer. VO retained my client letter and returned my passports. VO given 221g - No documents highlighted and ask to submit passport after email notification. Also consulate want to do administrative process and once done they will notify to me.
My client got email verification by 06/06/2019 and client replied same day. Any one know how the process will go and how long it will take.

I had my visa interview on Nov 15th at Hyd consulate. VO asked me regular questions and handed me whiteslip with checkbox additional admin processing ticked. VO kept my passport and told that she will get back to me if they need anything.
Dec Month - No updates. Cancelled my flight tickets.
Jan 4th - Passport returned with no stamping.
Jan 14th - Got the call from HYDFPU and asked to send Client Letter and LCA. I sent on same day.
Jan 28th - DOS contacted my client for verification and to fill questioner. Client responded on same day.
Feb 25th - Got email from Hyd Admin to re-submit passport.
Feb 26th - Case Status date updated , still in AP
Mar 1st - Case Status date updated , still in AP
Mar 11th - Case Status date updated , still in AP
Apr 12th - Same status. Still in AP
May 17th - Same status. Still in AP
June 4th and 5th - Status Updated. Still in AP.
June 6th - Issued. Finally !!! :(
June 17th - Back to US.
No 1 shud get this 221g pain. My prayers to all 221g pepl

20 Jun: collected passport at Bangalore VAC

Hello,
H1b fresh petition and first time going for stamping. Personal appearance on 30th april 2019.
Asked for client letter, took scan of it and returned passport with blue slip marked with admin processing. No documents asked for. No updates so far either in ceac.
Client being contacted on 1st May and responded 2nd May. Any idea how long it would take? Any one on same boat?

Got email to submit passport on 3rd June 2019. Submitted passport at VAC Chennai the same day.

Issued on 19th June. Yet to collect passport.

06/06/19: Attended interview in Mumbai, lasted 2 minutes, was asked if I was ever out of status and confirmation of visa sequence. Was then told visa was approved and that their database incorrectly showed me as out of status which would be corrected. Passport was retained and would be available in two to three working days

Passport Tracking still shows that passport has been picked up prior to my interview and has not been updated since.
