Had an interview on March 6th for h1b extension . This is my 10th year H1b extension .
VO asked me only 2 question s:
For how long you have been with your employer - i replied 11 years .
Do you live with your husband .
Took my h1b original , Returned my passport with 221g white slip .I said we will reach you in 1 week .
After that no update on the ceac website or any communication .
Checked with employer - Nothing was communicated to them .
I had previous F1/h1b stampings successfully with same employer with no issues . This is the first time i was issued with 221G after 4 successful H1b and F1 stampings .
Is there anyone on the same boat .
This wait is really frustrating .
Case was updated on -march 27th 2019
March 29th - Got call from consulate regarding client details .
After that no update /client was not contacted .
April 12th - client got verification email .
May 6th - Got email to submit passport .
May 10th - status changed to issued and picked up the passport

4/23 ==> Attended Interview , VO asked Client Letter, informed VO, client wont provide Client Letter, VO issues 221G blue
4/30 ==> Submitted SOW, LCA and didnt submit client letter as already informed him client letter not available.
5/8 ==> Asked to submit passport
5/9 ==> In CEAC website status date changed to 5/9/2019 ( Status still remains as "Admin Process" )
5/10 ==> Status Changed to Issued around noon and got email to collect passport around 3 PM
Passport received with visa stamped on it.

Interview was OK , documents were asked ( LCA , petition , project details , salary slip and tax documents)
4/8 - documents submitted
5/3- Passport asked to submit
5/6 - submitted passport
5/10 - passport collected with stamp
The whole process makes you very impatient because of the waiting , the whole waiting time i used search internet or check my emails for any notification. Thanks to my manager and family for supporting. I wish there was more visibility in the process. This website showed me some hope with everyone who shared their experience. Thanks for it.

March 25: Fingerprint
March 26: Interview Day
VO asked few basic questions like highest level of education, Employer Name, Client Name, Salary, What does my client do, My responsibilities, timeframe in USA. 221G Yellow Slip.
Requested Documents: - Original Petition, I129, LCA
- Contract between me and my employer
- Contract between all the involved companies (PO, MSA and SOW)
- Client letter to confirm there is a vacancy for me
- Project Document
March 28: Submitted all the documents.
April 15 - Client received email
April 16 - Client responded
April 22 - Received email to submit passport
April 24 - Submitted my passport.
April 30 - Status Changed to 'Issued'
May 1 - Passport ready for pickup
May 2 - Passport Collected

Brief intro: This my 4th H1B Stamping. Last one in April 2016 was a successful dropbox stamping with Same Direct Client (Means No middle vendor). I am with my H1B employer since 10+ years. With same client for 3+ years.
1 April: Dropbox Document Submission
3 April: Admin Processing
Since my last dropbox was completed in 5 working days, i was expecting the same here.
4 April: I called national visa centre for updates and got to know that need to go for interview.l
8 April: got my passport without visa stamp and with a slip to appear for Interview.
9 April: Went for Interview. Questions asked:
1) how many years with current employer,2) Salary 3) Cleint Name
and then he typed something and gave me blue 221 g slip asking for few documents.
12 April: Submitted All the Docs and got ack.
30 April: Got Email to submit passport
1 May: Passport Submitted
7 may: Visa Issued
10 May Passport Collected With Visa Stamp.

I was called for 221g follow up interview after Dropbox on 15Apr. No documents asked with initial 221g
Interview completed with basic questions on 26th Apr. VO said visa issued but he said they require some additional admin processing. Passports kept with him & Gave 221g with case number and none of items are checked. Not getting any status with the given case number.
Not sure what’s this additional check from there side and admin processing. This is my 3rd extension. I am in EC model with same employer.and same client.
Cancelled my return flight due to this delay.

60 days passed by.. sill AP .. checked with traveldocs .. standard reply
82nd day .. was asked to submit passport
90 days passed by still AP checked with traveldocs .. standard reply
98 day ... status changed as Issued today
During these days no client verification to my knowledge .. no docs required ..
Yet to collect passports ... During this waiting ..this tracker was giving some hope through someone's experience.. Wanted to share the same hope to all who are waiting..
