Me: Handed the I-797A/H1B
Interview: April 8th

May 2nd status changed to issued.
Visa officer made a copy of my I-797A, retained the passport and handed me 221g white slip with additional admin processing is required.
No other documents were asked though. I came to India on an emergency with my two daughters, and got an 221g even though I am an FTE. Only hope is they have retained my passport. My employer does not allow remote work and told me I must report on-site by April 22nd. At this point, I was only told to wait until the status changes.

Interview went well, asked basis questions. gave me 221g green slip and asked to email docs such as LCA, i797, resume, education docs, etc. and gave back my passport
Submitted docs on 6th Feb

on 1st may passport was returned without stamping with another 221g asking for all siblings name with dates of birth
Emailed them back on 1st May with details

H1B renewal. Interview first time 2014 and Dropbox for the second time in 2015. I140 apprvd
Dropbox on Feb 25 th in Bangalore.
March 8 with a Blue Slip to attend Interview.
Interview on Mar 12th in Chennai consulate
- Asked for 797,i28, and Client letter
- I submitted all but for Client letter i had an email from Client HR that they don't give client letter. I am at EVVC model so had Employer letter, and 2 Vendors letter so provided that.
- After an hour, I was told again my Visa is under 221g with a blue slip but no document to submit.
- My employer got queries on April 5 and submitted on April 9. The questions were like Who is my end client, job duties , location of work. By this time my client had given me a Client letter. So employer submitted that as well.
- March 25th and April 12th client was contacted.
- 24 th April request for passport submission - 26th submitted
- May 1 - First time status updated to Issued

Feb 22-2019: Biometric. (H1B and H4)
Feb 26-2019:Visa Interview. Visa officer approved our visa during the interview.
March 11: Received notification to collect our passports.
March 12-2019: Collected our passports. No visa stamped. Received a 221G (Green letter) asking us to wait for an email from the consulate.
March 13-2019: Email received requesting us to re submit our passports. No additional documents requested.
March 14-2019: Resubmitted our passports.
March 27-2019: Collected our passports .No visa stamp again this time. Received a 221G(White letter) asking us to undergo medical examination.
March 28: Medical examination done. Doctor had no idea why we were asked for Medicals. We have a clear cut history, no DUI nothing.
April 4-2019: Resubmitted our passports as per the 221G white letter along with receipts of the medicals.
Still Awaiting an update

I had my visa interview on 1st april in Delhi Consulate. Was asked general question about employer and what i do. Then was asked question regarding when i graduated and was i out of status any time(which i wasnt). In the end he handed over a yellow slip stating that there some flag on my sevis account which needed to be cleared off before the proceed and he said it a common thing, need to wait for some time.
Its still AP as of now, got the case updated yesterday though. Not sure how long it would take :(

While H1B stamping, got RFE (221G). and documents submitted on FEB 15, the case was updated on 4th March 2019. and before 1 and half month ago, got inquired to the client place for my JD. still waiting for status is administrative in process.
is there any way we can check to the consulate for status (except tracking online), or we can check where the process stopped.
It's been almost 4 months now.
