Hello All,
I have attended my interview on Apr 16th in Chennai Consulate. I have some weird experience.
Visa Officer asked me where do you work/pay/role and asked me if I have Client letter,Vendor letter, i797, LCA. I have given everything to her. She gave a yellow slip and asked me to wait for few minutes.
Later an Indian lady called me to verify more docs like Pay stubs, W2, previous petition (I did an amendment since I changed my client in October). I showed her the previous one and the new one. Then she asked me to wait for VO call.
Visa Officer again called me at the window and handed over me blue slip with no docs checked and she returned my docs ( I think she took a a copy of it) and passport.What will be the case here?
Is it going to be client verification? If so, how long it is going to take?

October 12, 2018 - Visa interview at Mumbai consulate. got a green slip for 221(g). passport was kept.
October 30, 2018 - Got the passport back with one more 221(g) green slip in it/no visa stamp.
Multiple follow ups yielded standard reply. Emails from senator and congressman also got standard replies.
March 14, 2019 - 2 DHS officers visited my client's office and employer's office for verification.
March 20, 2019 - DHS officer sent my employer email asking more questions to which he replied immediately. and after that there was no update.
April 15, 2019 - Got an email to submit the passport, copy of my I797 and 221g receipt.
April 16, 2019 - Submitted the passport with copy of I797 and 221g receipt.
April 17, 2019 - Case status updated for the first time in 6 months.
April 22, 2019 - CEAC status changed to ISSUED.
April 24, 2019 - Collected the passport with visa stamp.

I had the same kind of timing for my previous 221g that happened in November 2017. It looks like 4-5 weeks if you have a regular TAL clearance.

April 15th - First case update.
April 16th - Around Noon Issued

i had visa interview on 10th dec 2018 in hyd consulate. VO asked some basic interview questions .he said my visa got approved and took my passport as well.
on Dec 11th 2018 I got an email from consulate to submit DS-5335 and submitted it on the same day.
Dec14th 2018 I got an email to collect my passport ( without stamping with 2211g white slip)
Since then I am waiting to hear back from them and.its been almost 4 1/2 months .

guys ,
i was appeared for an h1 b interview at HYD consulate on 8th april and VO gave me white sleep , he kept passport and did not ask to submit any additional documents and he said it will take 3-5 additional days on top of the regular processing time. mine is FTE and but it is a new employer (switching to FTE) so joining date is still in future.
just curious if any one recently faced such issue ? how long does it take normally to clear up ?
