Second Marriage AOS CONCERN
Hello everyone!
Please I need advice.
In 1994, i got married to my first husband, a USC, and filed for AOS . We were also interviewed the same year. Things went well at the interview but we were asked to submit one more document which we did immediately . But we didn't get any feedback until about 5yrs later. But, by then, we were already separated and could not go to the second interview ( the notice said "for passport stamping")
About 3 yrs into the marriage, I found out that my husband was cheating on me. I even caught him on our matrimonial bed with a woman! He thought I was working late.
It was a horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
I tried to divorce him on the ground of adultery but he refused. He said it would "damage his record."
We remained separated until I met my current husband 4yrs after. In order for me to marry my husband, I had to give in to divorcing my ex on the ground of abandonment. We got married couple of weeks after my divorce was final, and have been happily married for over 12 yrs.
Now, my husband is petitioning for me. We held on this long because I was afraid of my past AOS with my ex. Our Lawyer advised us that it would raise questions. I contacted my ex who, due to guilty feeling, is willing to write an affidavit to help my case.
Does anyone have similar experience?
Please share.
I would so much appreciate it.
Thanks!

Back in the U.S
Hi Guys,

I'm back home from my trip to Mexico. As you all know leaving is never an issue, therefore leaving the country was a piece of cake. I spent 6 days in Mexico with family. Coming back I checked in with a Delta worker and she checked my passport and AP paper. She then printed my ticket and I noticed it said "DOCS OK". I proceeded to security and everything was fine and then I waited 2 hours for my flight to leave. I had a connecting flight in Atlanta and I had about 90 minutes between flights ( if you have connecting flights make sure you have about 2-3 hours because customs and immigration lines can get long) I rushed to go through customs and immigration and luckily there was no line. The officer asked me for my passport and visa but I said I had advance parole, he thought it was DACA but I said it was through adjustment of status. He took a look at my paper and passport and asked how long I was out the country and I said " six days" . He was looking t his computer (idkk what was there) and then asked me to confirm my parent's names. He fingerprint both my hands and took a picture of me. Finally, he stamped my passport and AP papers "Paroled until April 19, 2018". He returned both my papers and I rushed through security once again.

This time around it was quicker than when I traveled with AP DACA. It took about 10 minutes bet that was because he was soooooo slowwwwww!!!!

- PS- I applied for AP under AOS valid for one year after I traveled with AP DACA in 2015. I hope this
helps many of you. I'm planing to travel again in July.

Maiden Name on Passport
Need help....My wife was approved yesterday for her temporary work permit and Advance Parole and plans to travel to the Philippines next month with our 4 year old daughter. Her Philippine passport has her maiden name on it and not her married name. Will this be an issue if she has her marriage certificate with her?

Thanks so much

Traveling to a second country
Hello guys! I wanted to see if anyone can answer my question. So, I recently got approved on April 13th and the traveling dates they gave me are from 4/20 - 7/15. Im planning to travel around June. Im planning to leave from LAX. My trip was destined to Mexico only since I have a very sick grandfather, however, one of my aunts is also very sick but she lives in Colombia (she married a Colombian man) she really wants to see me but obviously due to her condition she cannot travel (she is also my God mother so it's important for both of us). She was planning to travel to mexico if my AP was approved but now I dont know what to do. If I go, I was planning on getting a letter from her doctor or hospital stating her condition so if I get asked my reason for traveling to Colombia, I can utilize that as proof. Im only planning on going for the weekend there, and from there I can go to Mexico. In mexico I will be staying for about 6 days because on my way back I have school and work. Does anyone have any experience traveling to another country? and also is it a good idea to travel from LAX to Colombia? or should I go to Mexico first?
Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

Hi everyone I just recently received my travel documents after waiting for 4 months, thanks god! and I am traveling to Mexico City from Seattle. My return flight has me arriving in Las Vegas first then my connecting flight back home to Seattle. My question is has anyone traveled back from Mexico into Las Vegas Airport? How are CBP there? Any issues with people arriving in Las Vegas airport with AP and DACA? My travel dates are Thursday April 27 and come back May 3. I plan to adjust status through my US Citizen wife once i return.

Thanks guys!

My experience
Travel dates: April 12 trough April 20.

Just got back to the states this morning. I didn't took me too long to go trough but everything went smooth. It was worth it the risk. After 13 years Since I was brought to the states I finally saw my grandparents. It was like a dream came trough being at the once again in my hometown the place where I grew up till the age of 10.
I wasn't nervous or anything I know I had nothing to hide so if you planing to go and don't have any criminal background you should be able to come back without any problems.

Did I Get Approved
Hello guys...I'm super excited because after 3 months of checking the status of my Advance Parole application at least 3 times a day, I know I'm crazy :-),I finally saw a change.

My application was received January 17, 2017. This is what the status says "On April 20, 2017, we mailed your document directly to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your document by May 20, 2017 please go to...." Does that mean I got approved?
