Thank you all for sharing your experiences and giving me hope throughout this years of waiting.

I just received my 10 yr GCard in the mail, yesterday.
Online update states the following:
On February 24, 2022, the Post Office picked up mail containing your new card for Receipt Number ....

My time line:
In California
Submitted packet on May 2020
Case was Transferred to SC in December 2020
Received 2 extension letters
No interview
No request for additional evidence

Reached out via phone once because extension letter was about to expire & 1 online inquiry ( because case was outside of processing time ) . * I noticed I got updates after reaching out to them*

My husband and I have been dating since 2008, married in 2017 ( no kids ) ... applied for initial GCard in 2018

No lawyer... We do not have a lot of evidence.
First time, we only submitted tax reports and photos
For removal , we submitted photos, tax reports , car registration and bank statements.

Good luck to everyone!!!

First Name on Green card
Hello all, i'm hoping someone can provide me with some info or advice about my situation.

I'm a permanent resident (10 year GC holder) and i will be applying for citizenship/naturalization, next year, 2023 and plan on changing my first name at the time. I would like to travel out of the country for the first since i got my GC. The issue is my GC has my given first name at birth on it while my passport has a different first name. I was advised by I.O during my interview to have it changed to that on passport either in my home country or when i apply for citizenship but per the USCIS rules my GC has to be issued in the name on one's birth certificate. I decided i'll do be the latter.

Seeing as i'm not applying for citizenship till next year, and want to travel internationally this year, in which name should i buy my ticket? As stated on my GC or as stated on my foreign international passport?

PS
I intend on having my birth cert. and other USCIS docs. showing the process was started in the name that's on passport. Just to be safe and prove that i am one and the same person.

Question regarding documents needed,
Hello everyone. We will be filing for I-751 (removal of conditions on my conditional GC) this year and want to make sure we have enough supporting documents when filing. So far this is what we have:

1) Joint Checking and Savings Account
2) 401K
3) Life Insurance
4) Photos
5) Utility Bills
6) Car Insurance

Also, do I need to be on house deed ? and any other documents that might help support

YSC Potomac approve today !!!!
Just got text msg from USCIS alert and log in says new card is being produced. My timeline:
4/22/2020 received my package
5/13/2020 reused my biometrics
2/18/2022 approved

I485 interview was in US, I was on F1 and H1b visa before this.

I was 100% expecting a RFE but now approved with no questions asked. I had to triple check to make sure.

This group helped me a lot and I know YSC is the slowest center, I pray for all of you. If you didn’t have much evidence I hope my case brings you some hope.
