N400 and I751 combo interview decision can’t be made
Hello guys
So I had my N400 combo interview last week August 2. I went with my spouse cos I have a pending i751. We went through the security check point and wen I got called in by the interviewing officer, she asked if this was my spouse, I said yes, she told him to wait for me at the reception while I went in with her.
So in short I was interviewed alone, immediately I got into her office, I was happy wen I saw my i751 file right in front of her. So she went tru the civic questions, and told me I passed and said she can’t make a decision because she needs to look through my i751 file. I asked wen I should be expecting a decision she said i should give it a week or 2 weeks or maybe a month and in 120 days I can go to court.
The wait is rather frustrating! Is there anyone else waiting for a decision after n400 interview? My field office is in Santa Ana

August 2021 Was transferred to another office for processing.
August 2021 Transferred your Form I-751

Received 18 and 24 months extension but not 48 months, when I called they told me it was sent but I never received it. I was told they will send me a new one but it has been 3 months now and no response. Anyone else has the same problem?

Should I file for N-400 while I-751 Pending
Hello all,
I filed my I-751 (Jointly) in August 2022
In August 2023 I will be eligible to file electronically for N-400 however my question is what for any reason while waiting for my combo interview (n400+i751) I got divorced what will happen in this case will both forms be rejected?
I am trying to determine if it is better/safer to wait for I-751 to be adjusted first then file for N-400 or file for n-400 now since this will reduce the waiting ?

N400 and I 751
My combo interview was today but the IO didn’t conduct the N400. He only conducted the i751. He separated my husband and I and grilled us for an hour. He was very mean and frowning. My husband and I missed a few questions and am very worried. Why didn’t he conduct the N400?

I want to know did you receive a notice letter then the greeencard or it is only one letter have the green card .

I-751 IOE Receipt Number
Hi guys, I filed my I-751 with a lawyer just last March of this year (2023). My receipt number starts with IOE which I believe is through the USCIS online account. I looked at the bottom of my receipt and it says theyre processing my papers in the California Service Center. Does anyone know how long it takes to process it? Please help.

N 400
Hello guys, I'm from New York and I went for my N-400 on Monday the interview went well, and no update from the USCIS website at the moment. I want to ask if that is always the norm because I'm getting worried. I checked their website every hour and it's still showing interview was scheduled and my i751 is still saying the case was updated to fingerprint taken( since December ). During my interview on Monday. I saw my i751 file with the woman that interviewed me and no update whatsoever on the website. Please help a guy. I'm about to lose it

I've been a constant reader of this forum to check on experiences and wait times across service centers.
I filed for removal of conditions on my green card in Sept'21 and got 12, 24 and 48 month extension letters. Finally i received a notification about my new card being processed in July'23 without interview.
Sept 21' 2021 - Case was updated to show fingerprints
July 7' 2023 - New card is being produced.
I started off with 11.5months wait time in the USCIS website and currently at 28.5months wait time for I751 in Vermont service center but i am approved after 22months.
I would suggest to be patient and have faith. Personally i'd also suggest to not file for citizenship while waiting coz ive seen cases being called in for interview resulting in more delays. Hope this article is helpful for somebody just like i had with others. Good luck!!
