Tips for EAD card lost in the mail
Please go to local USPS office directly and ask them to find the card with you.
My case was that the carrier misdelivered the card to the mailbox of other residents in my apartment. And the doorman in my apartment told to me that similar things happened very frequently!!!
I stayed local USPS office for around five hours. The supervisor finally agreed to come to the apartment and checked all mailbox.The only way I could contact with the supervisor is to use the office phone on local USPS office. So please do not leave the local USPS office until someone agrees to open mailbox in the department for you.
Do not believe any words the carrier said. Obviously, the carrier would say she/he delivered the card. Please ask USPS to do everything to find the card instead of reapplying and waiting for another 60 days. No need to call the USPS customer service and fill the missing mail case. The mail is not really missing. It may just be in other people's malbox. USPS has responsiblites to find the missing mail for you. Just keep constantly talking to the local USPS officers and explaining how serious the situations were.

My i485 just changed its status to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview", does that mean i765 will be in production soon?

Ead expedite approved, Initial evidence

Today my expedite request for EAD is approved in the morning.
Afternoon I got a notice on my i485 asking for initial evidence.
Do you guys think that will affect my ead card processing?

EAD returned to USCIS as post office could not deliver it. They took wrong apartment no.

My EAD was approved on Jan 2nd, 2020. However, upon checking status, it shows on Jan 22, 2020 post office returned it to USCIS because they could not deliver. Instead of apartment 455, they took wrong apartment no. i. e. 45. I have received other letters from USCIS at the same address. I have contacted USCIS number of times, service request is also raised. But no updates now.
Today I again called USCIS and they are saying you need to apply it again. But applying it again means more $500 and 3 months delay. Do I need to apply again?
I don't have job too. What should I do? Please suggest

EAD being produced - California Center - September
Hi everyone,
I sent my renewal application (2nd renewal) end of September and received a notification on February 5th that my card was being produced. It took under 5 months, I am not sure if it's because it's my 3rd card or what but I wanted to share to give you hope. The only thing I did is I called the USCIS early January to explain I would lose my job early February without my new card. The agent on the phone told me she was sorry but to call again 2 months later as processing times were 6-8 months. So i am guessing that call didn't help... but who knows? Best of luck to all of you.

Lost with timing
I filed an I765 on the 12/16/19 on the basis of a pending asylum case. On the 01/14/2020 my Case Status was updated to "Case was approved" and one week later I received the written notice. I also got my SSN a week after the notice.
Last Saturday I got a third notice where they informed me that I have an appointment on the 02/19/2020 for biometrics. I have made some job interviews and it seems like I may be offered a couple of positions in the next few weeks.
I am very lost with the system here because everybody has a completely different experience with their cases. I wonder how long it takes for the card to be mailed after the biometrics. Does anybody have experiences with asylum seekers' EAD?
I am so tired and discouraged right now, I hope I am not the only one going through this horrible process.
