EAD Renewal
Hi All-
Just wanted to share. I had to do a renewal for my EAD because it was ready to expire. Have a lawyer who helped with the forms. Submitted 7/24/20- one month before it expired. It was received within 2 weeks and we got confirmation letters sent. In Sept we got notification that biometrics would be used from last time and then they approved the applications. The new card was issued 9/18. Today we got the card! This time- the card just came in the mail and I did not need to sign for it. So happy it happened so quickly! EAD renewal was processed through the national center. Hope this helps others!

Travel to Brazil with EAD?
My wife has had her employment card since January and we are Ready to Schedule Interview on i485 since February 2020. We are in Tampa area. My wife's father is having health issues and is in and out of the hospital for the past two weeks. It may be serious and life threatening, but we are waiting to hear. I've heard on some posts that she can travel with her EAD for a visit and still get back in the country, but the card itself specifically says that it is NOT for re-entry into the country.
If the issue is life threatening, what would my wife need in order to visit her father for a couple weeks and then re-enter the country? My understanding is Brazil will not issue a visa for 10 years if she over-stayed her prior visa, which she did. Any advice would be appreciated.

USPS: EAD card returned to USCIS
I need advice on what I should do. I filed for EAD renewals in May and dis not receive any correspondence from USCIS. I called today to ask for update and to my surprise, I was given a receipt number. I tracked the number and realized card was already sent to me on August 29. I didn’t receive any card so I went to the USPS office with the tracking number and was told card returned to USPS as a result of insufficient address. The USPS did not include my apartment number. Anyone with this similar experience? Can the card be recalled? Please what should I do?

Can I stay in the US with expired EAD?
Family based I 485 applied in VA on 26th of December 2017. Received a notice " ready to schedule interview" on February 6, 2020 - 7 months later still no response. My EAD expires in February 2021, will I be able to stay legally in the country with expired EAD in case the interview will take long?

Married to USC
I got my first EAD after our interview, and it expires in 1 year so I had to make a renewal as our case is still pending.
USCIS received my renewal forms on 6/17/20, and yesterday, I checked my receipt and it says that new card is being produced.
I wish its the Green Card, but its the EAD! I am still waiting to receive the physical EAD card. So it took around 3 months to get my new EAD card.
