Hi everyone. I filled my application for my EAD alongside my change of status more than 4 weeks ago and I haven't received a receipt number yet. Any ideas on hoe to get the receipt number? Thank you.

I765- " Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken"
Hello Everyone.
My PD- 4/17/2020
I had my Biometrics on Aug 10 and On the same day I-765 updated to Fingerprints were taken and I-485 was updated to " Case ready to schedule for interview"
Any Idea after how long from here will it take to get an Interview or get my EAD card?
Any input is appreciated.

New card is being produced – J2 EAD Potomac Center
Today I got the notification that my renewal card is being produced! My PD is June 4th, 2020 and the center is Potomac. I'm a J2 visa holder, c(5) category. Does anyone know approximately how long is it taking for the cards to be mailed and received?

The card mailed in mid August was valid from early May
The application was approved in May. They held on to my EAD card until I gave biometrics but the newly produced card has validity from May to next May! I lost over 3 months o:)

EAD/AP Renewal
I have a pending I-485, Adjustment of Status, and submitted my EAD/AP renewal on 6/22 120 days before expiration. The status of my case just changed to "Case was Updated to Show Fingerprints Were Taken", is this any indication that a card may be produced shortly?

EAD approved and Card Received but haven't received SSN
Hi,
I am based out of New Jersey.
While filing EAD application form, I requested for SSN in the same form. My EAD was approved last week of July and I received my EAD card last week. So far, I haven't received my SSN.
As all SSA offices are temporarily closed in my area, who should I reach out to?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi everyone, my case was received in October 2019 and I still havent got my EAD, my expedite request was denied and I raised SR in July 22 it hasnt been assigned to officer yet. in the past I contacted ombutsman and Congressman no help. I see some ppl contacted Senator as well, can you advice me on how to contact or where to find the department in the senate office that handles immigration cases, because I tried to contact the Senators' office and none of them helped me saying that they do not handle Immigration cases.

Good but Weird News about EAD cards!
Yesterday after calling USCIS for so many times. I figured out since your EAD is approved, you can work but that’s up to your employer if he/she wants to hire with just the approval letter or not. What you can do now is just find a self employed jobs like Doordash, etc or ask if your employer if he would take Your approval letter as a work permit. It’s totally up to your employer right now. I got approved on 7/6 and they wasted all my time till I figured that out yesterday.
