Got automatic L2 ead(A18) renewal for 180 days
Hi, I want to share my experience, i am surprised when my employer informed me that your ead is extended for 180 days as i filed my renewal application timely, is it happen with someone else? Please confirm. I am confused because my category is A18, and nowhere mentioned that A18 category is eligible for automatic extension for 180 days. Please reply .

05/20/20 They receive the partial RFE and reactivated the case ( how come?? I don't know....)
07/11/2020 Your I485 is ready for interview all of them 3 NOAS
07/13/2020 Your EAD and parole was approved and sent to production
07/29/2020 Your EAD was mailed
As fo now no card yet kind of obvious does anyone knows how to track it? Does it show on informed delivery? How?

EAD to Texas Service Center (L2 or E2 (A16) or (A17))
Hi,
I just sent my application to the texas service center after my current EAD was approved only for 2 months! (keep in mind you I-94, if your need more info ask me!).
Could anyone give any insights about the minimum time frame for TX SC for approval given your experiences?
I need it in 1.5 months! following to the processing times they take from 1.5 months to 5 months.
Thank you! and my best hopes all you that are still waiting! this is my 3rd renewal and is so frustrating!.

Interview date sent in mail.
Hello all,
This is a continuation of my recent post "Finally interview date is set".
Most of you asked me to post an update when I get it- it's set for Aug 24th, San Diego. I got the status change on July 21, 2020. The letter was in the mail on July 29th, 2020. I will have to do medical again- I will schedule it for next week.
A brief timeline of my GC marriage-based application, for those interested-
1. Nov 2018 application sent. Following 1-2 weeks I received all my receipts.
2. Pretty soon deposited my fingerprints.
3. Applied for EAD expedite on first week March 2019. Start working from April 1st 2018 (moved to San Diego from San Jose for a new job).
4. Aug 2018- I update my address on all applications that I sent. (That's when found a permanent place)
5. Around Nov 2019 I get a status change for I485 saying my interview was scheduled. Following week another status change for cancelling my interview. I called USCIS for clarification- they said the first interview was scheduled as per my San Jose address. The cancelled status was for my SJ address. Phew.
6. Around Feb 2020 I get a status change for an interview scheduled (for San Diego) for March 25th,2020.
7. Complete my medical around March first week.
8. March 18th status change for interview cancelled due to COVID.
9. Around the same time, my EAD expires- and my company encourages me to apply for renewal and they will wait till I get a new card.
10. I Apply for EAD renewal on March 18th- and got the card in hand on May 13th 2020. I start work the following week. I didn't expedite.
Thanks for all your help and suggestions- so brace yourselves the interview dates is coming!!

H-A Visa - EAD
Hi All,
My husband is a physician and will be obtaining a H-1B visa next year. I will be obtaining the H-4 visa next year.
I have a few questions that I need some clarification on, any help would be greatly appreciated!
1) As a H-4 visa holder, can I obtain a EAD? Under the I-765 eligibility categories its under c-26, stating that I am eligible with proof of status, proof of relationship to H-1B holder and approved I-140. For my own peace of mind, if someone who has obtained an EAD while on a H-4 visa can confirm this, that would be great! I am reading mixed things on the internet.
2) I am assuming the I-140 form will be approved with the H-1B process, is this correct?
3) Is there any restrictions on obtaining an EAD under the H-4 visa?
4) How long does it take for the H-1B and H-4 visa to get approved?
5) If any H-4 visa holders who have obtained EADs can please leave a comment on the process and your experience, that would be very helpful!

Will EAD be on hold as well if I have pending RFIE for my I-485 application
I filed I-130, I-485, etc. concurrently. Married to a USC. I received a RFIE for my I-485 application. (Issue is related to I-864 form). Was wondering if my EAD application will also be placed on hold until I submit the RFIE requirements? My existing EAD (which i got from my F1-OPT status) will expire this September and I am hoping to get a new EAD based on my AOS application.
