re applying for EAD card
so i applied for EAD card on January.
Biometrics on February.
Since then nothing, no update or anything else.
Raised two SR, and congressman.
Now my lawyer sent me applications again, and said that even if i get the card it would expire right away.
For some reason i don't believe him. Why would the card expire it didn't even been issued yet, hack my case its not even under review.
I have a feeling it was declined and he knows it, or something like that.

Please help

My EAD/ Advance parole marriage has has been filed April 8th. I filled out a service request today for case outside processing time. How long does USCIS take to answer those?

March filers EAD renewal @ NBC (c09)?
Is anyone else from March still waiting to get their EAD renewed from NBC? I filed on March 25th and I am still waiting. I raised 2 SRs and 1 expedite request. They responded to the expedite request saying:

"Due to workload factors not related to your case, USCIS anticipates a delay in completing your case. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in the order received and in a timely and efficient manner."

I have contacted the senator and Ombudsman but haven't heard anything from them yet. Don't know what else to do now but wait.

EAD / ADVANCE PAROLE
Hello everyone.
My case was received July 25th 2019. My case is now “ready to schedule interview for my I-485”. When will I get my EAD or Advance parole? I may have to do some traveling in May 2020. So when can I expect to maybe get the EAD card and advance parole? Any insight would be much appreciated. Marriage based HOUSTON TEXAS

weird thing...
My PD is March, 22. Marriage based, NBC, Houston. On October, 17 I got "New card is being produced" on 765, but the next day (October, 18) my 485 status changed from "Ready to be scheduled..." to "Interview cancelled". The thing is it even wasn't scheduled. Who had the same issue? Any ideas?

PD 05/28/2019 still waiting
Hello,
I applied for AOS after waiting for more than 5 years under F2B to become eligible (changed category from F1 because F2B is faster) on May 2019.
My PD is May 28, 2019.
I got my biometrics taken on 06/26/2019.
Since the biometrics there has been total silence. I called Uscis about a couple months ago, the officer told me that EAD processing times were around 5.5 months at that moment and that my application is pending.
I had my driver's license about to expire, I went to the DMV and they extended my driver's license for a year upon providing I485 receipt and biometrics appointment paper (Florida).
I have been reading this forum and decided to comment. I see that some early/mid May filers are getting their cards. I'm hoping that the regular processing times for late May filers are approaching as well. I observe that the majority of the applicants get their cards within 5-6 months but it is heartbreaking to see that some of you have been waiting for almost a year.

I would like to ask a few questions. I just saw that normal processing times are extended to 6.5 months (I am assigned to NBC, field office Oakland Park, FL)
According to this processing times, until mid-December I will still be within the normal processing time.
If I send an SR at the end of this month, before the normal processing time expires, could it help my case? If I do not get a response until the end of the year, and no response, should I proceed with another SR, request to expedite, and I hear that some of you got helped by an ombudsman?
If I get an expedite for an I765, will it also apply for I131 ?

If no response within the normal processing times: SR1, SR2, Expedite request, Ombudsman ? Should this be the approach that I should take?
Hopefully won't be necessary.
Best of luck to everyone. I will share the updates.

EAD expedite
Hello,
I have a question, do you guys think I would be qualified for an expedite? Heres my situation.
PD is in april 2019 because i filed i130 first.
I485 and EAD filed on july 31st 2019
Bio review completed 8/27/2019
Its been about 90 days since i filed EAD.
My husband owes a lot of back tax, about 40,000
We have a house tax payment of $4000
We have a 4 month old baby
We have hospital bills from having the baby
He’s been working to provide for our family and I stay home with the baby, i have a bachelor degree but i cannot work.
Our savings account is running low and i need to start working to help with our financial situation.
Do you guys think bills and payment requests are enough for proof of financial loss?
Answers much appreciated! Thank you.
