I applied for my combo card on 20 Sep 2019 and my case was approved on 25 Jun 2020 but didn’t receive my card yet. I have a pending I-485 and my case with American Benefits center. Any idea about what is gonna happen? Thank you all

Hello guys,
My husband needs his social and we don't know what to do anymore its been 4 months and the SSA offices are not opening. is anyone trying to get their first social and they being asked to send all original documents by the social security office? if yes did anyone send their original documents (green card, passport) what happened after that? did they actually give you an appointment? what's the timeline? is it safe? any info about this or advice or experience I would appreciate it.

L2/EAD Renewal (My Card finally arrived yesterday after 22 days of waiting after approval)

My card finally arrived yesterday after 22days of waiting for it to arrive after approval
Here is my timeline:
RD April 6th 2020
Approved on June 22nd 2020 (in 78 days)
Card arrived by USPS on July 14th (22days)
Total time taken is 100 days - 3months and 1.5 weeks.
Vermont Centre - online application by our immigration team (no expedite).
I'm on an L2 visa this was my 3rd time renewing my EAD
Interestingly, I never got a USPS tracking number after the status changed to 'card mailed to me' on July 10th and I checked my status again this morning and it's still stuck in 'card mailed to me' - no tracking number.. just fyi..
The last few times I renewed my EAD when the card was mailed we also got a USPS tracking number soon as the status changed to 'card mailed to me'

We have checked the option for new SSN in the EAD Application. The EAD got approved on 7/8 and a new card is being processed. I am yet to receive the card. Will the SSN be automatically issued by the SSN office? How long does it take to receive the SSN after the EAD is approved? How long should I wait before contacting the local SSN office. Please do share your experiences.
