L2 EAD renewal
Hi, I’m a silent follower but would like to reach out to share my experience / ask for any advice.
I’m an L2 going through an EAD renewal. My RD date is Aug 15th and is being processed in Texas. I know it has not been that long but unfortunately my current EAD expired on Sept 10th and am currently unemployed with two kids and high monthly costs.
We usually renew my EAD alongside our L1/L2 renewal via premium processing and so the typical EAD processing times did not apply to us. However, they have just stopped premium processing for spouses and dependents and sadly we found out too late, hence the pickle I am now in.
I am wondering whether I should move forward with expediting my case and if so, will it even help? Or will it push my case further back in the queue. How do you go about expediting it? We were working with a law firm to submit my EAD application but I can’t afford to have them help with the expedition as they’ll charge. Any advice or insight would be great.
It’s just so unsettling not knowing when it will arrive, and the income that we are losing per month :( challenging times indeed.

I got a awesome update today saying new card is being produced for ead. Any idea when I will receive it and my social security card ? Thanks in advance pd December 24. 280 days of wait and silence.

I had my ead approved and they mailed the approval notice without the ead card on the 18th of September and in the approval it says they will mail the actual ead card itself

Help needed
Hey, first time poster here. My wife and I moved to the US earlier this year (from Australia), and I am on an E-3 visa. She is on an E-3D visa, which is the spouse equivalent.
She filed the I-765 EAD form, and she was a sub-category (a)(17), and her application was received and processed at the Vermont Service Center on July 12th 2019. So its coming up to 3 months of waiting.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what we can do? She has a job lined up and has an offer, and we are just waiting for the EAD to be approved. I was thinking of filing for an expedite, but just want to know other peoples stories and opinions on the process.

Here’s my timeline
03/22/2019 - USCIS received my application for i-765 category C9
08/21/2019 - Raised service request for case being outside normal processing time.
09/15/2019 - contacted senator for help as I didn’t receive any response from USCIS
10/02/2019 - After a long wait of 6 and half months and numerous calls to USCIS finally, New card is being produced.
Just FYI, I didn’t expedite my case!
How long does it take after “new card being produced” update to receive the actual card?

USCIS IS KILLING ME
AFTER 7 months and several SR submitted I still have nothing and when I try to contact to find out the status of my expedite through Emma the representative just told me this:
We received your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly.

Card in hand: 10/01/2019
No mails or expediate request, just waiting patiently.. was hard but when I got the card yesterday I was just so happy that it all doesn't matter!
