Expedite request- What to do?
Raised expedite Request 8/13
USCIS received RFE response 8/14
Expedite case forwarded to office for review 8/15.
Nothing since then.

My current work permit s expiring soon and i have to resign if i dont get the EAD soon, have been talking to USCIS customer care and they arent able to do anything or give any more information other than online status.

I see for few people its taking few weeks for getting decision on expedite request if thats the case then i will loose job. Just sad and frustrated.

I485
So on Friday my husband received a form called g56 in the mail which is an appointment letter regarding his i485 application to come and to bring the original documents.

So he went to his interview back in 2016 and after the interview they asked for specific documents relating to his arrest (he’s been here since he was 10 years old and now he’s 29) And after we sent in the documents we haven’t heard from them in 3 years and now this random letter came in the mail to appear to their local office regarding an official matter about his i485 ...we are nervous ...very nervous

Has anyone had any experience with this ?

Appointment for the biometrics
Hi guys.

My RD is Jun25th, 55 days from now and I still haven't received a letter from them with an appointment for the biometrics. (TEXAS, Employment-based).

Is anybody here facing the same delay?

I've seen people that called to USCIS and was told that they had sent the appointment (somehow it was lost) a lot of time ago. So, they finished losing their appointment and had to wait for 30 more to have a new one.

Anybody from June that already received the letter or already made the biometrics?

EAD expedite
Hi forum families, for those had expedite experience, can you please explain to me what the following messages mean? I requested expedite at August 13th and was told I should get an email for faxing supporting documents by August 18th. But I did not get any email and this morning, the account details showing:

On August 19, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number *** was completed.
On August 19, 2019, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number ***.
On August 19, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number ***, was assigned to an officer for response.

What is that mean “referral number*** was completed”? Am I expecting the officer’s email next? Thanks for all your input!

Response from Congresswoman/Senator
Hi all,

PD: 02/19/2019
Submitted a SR on 07/31/2019, but it still hasn't been assigned for processing.

I talked to customer reps on the phone and through Emma, and every time they tell me to wait 30 days. So about 2 weeks ago I tried to contact the senator as well as the congresswoman.

I received a letter from the Senator dated 8/13/19 with the following response from USCIS to their inquiry:

"Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent's immigration matter. Our review note this case is currently under review by an officer. Your constituent should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this notice."

The Congresswoman's office called USCIS on 8/16/19 and talked to a liaison at NBC, who told them that "The case is coming up for review by an immigration officer. After the officer reviews, they will send a decision."

Has anyone received similar responses? Do they actually take close to the 60 days indicated?

181 days of waiting, and still counting...
