Had interview in Atlanta with my husband to get his green card. The interviewer was co snd daid everything was in order but they were advised that a second background check was needed and their system was not allowing it. He said we should hear from him in about 2 weeks.

hi guys i just got an update to new card being produce, Rd date was oct 3rd 2k18..so it took me 224 days for this to happen...please hang in there october filers u all soon rejoice

Got an update today my Case ready to schedule for an interview still nothing on EAD or AP. Anyone with the same update does this mean l should go and do my medical. I got the courtesy letter 2 days ago.

Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview!
Just got a text saying my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview! RD- November 29th, still didn’t get my EAD but I was so scared to get RFE and now that it’s scheduled I know it’s all good to go! Does anyone know how long till I get my work permit after this notice? Literally dancing in the kitchen with my hub, 167 days waiting and finally at least something!

L-2 Visa Holders - EAD Experience Feedback
Hi everyone,
Hoping to get some feedback or advise from L-2 visa holders on their EAD process.
Below is my timeline:
1. 21st Feb - Lodged my EAD application (category a(18))
2. 1st April - Received rejection letter for my EAD in mail (there was an issue with the payment of application fee). I was asked to re-submit all documents and was given a green piece of paper to send in with my application (not sure what this was for, maybe to expedite my application?).
3. 2nd April - EAD re-submitted by express mail.
4. 10 April - I received a text message that my application was received and provided with a case number.
5. 10 April - I created an online USCIS account to check my case status with the case number provided. Case status said I should receive Form I-797 in mail by 10 May.
6. 14 May (today) - I still haven't received the Form I-797 in mail and my case status online still has the same message.
When can I expect the EAD card in the mail (assuming the I-797 form is advising of my EAD approval).
Would love to hear feedback from anyone in a similar position?
