No transfer policy.
Called uscis today and was told I cant get the information I need because they have a no transfer policy starting today and cannot transfer my call to a tier 2 officer.

EAD finally on hands!!! September filer 9/26
F2B Petition (Mother petition for single son over 21)
I picked up my EAD yesterday. It was send to my lawyer address. My EAD comes with Advance Parole and is valid for 2 years (4/2019-4/2021).

I-485 March 7th Case is ready to schedule for an Interview
I-485 March 8th Interview was scheduled (April 11th)
I-485 April 11th AOS Interview (Approved, but need to wait for visa to be current)
May 2019 Visa Bulletin - F2B Category, my Greeen Card is Current, Yay!!!
I-765 April 24th - New Card id being Produced (7 months wait)
I-765/I-131 - April 25th Case was approved
I-765/I-131 - April 29th Receive Approval Letters
I-765/I-131 - April 29th EAD was picked up by USPS
I-765/I-131 - May 3th EAD was delivered (to my lawyer office)
I-765/I-131 - May 6th EAD on my hands.
Now just waiting for the green card to be produced. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I receive good news. I just need the visa adjudication stuff. I see it happens a lot with Employment Green Card.
After 6 years, the wait is almost over.

Hi adding my experience since reading this forum helped me not go stir crazy during the long wait...
Oct 10: Submit I-485 adjustment of status, work authorization and advanced parole document
Oct 26: received notice of receipt
Nov 6: received biometrics appt notification
Nov 14: biometrics completed
Nov 14-April 24: absolutely ZERO word
In that time our l1 expired, we were going to have to take an extended leave of absence no pay and ride out a scary however many months. Due to the automatic extension while a judgement on our case was being returned on the l1 we were able to stay working.
Finally, on April 25th our case status changed to approved. And on May 3, cards delivered. I can’t believe how long it went with zero updates to suddenly approved and card mailed/in hand.
Hold onto the faith!! It’s coming for you too

EAD through F1-OPT or marriage based AOS
Hi friends,
I am graduating in 3 months with a STEM degree. I got married with a USC a month ago. I have a job lined up which has a flexible starting date (preferably late-August).
I am wondering if I should apply for EAD through my F1-OPT or with the marriage based AOS. From the experiences I have read here, it seems that marriage based EAD takes about 5-6 months on average. So I believe it would be better to apply through the F1-OPT(?) since it takes only 3 months.
Will it affect my AOS application in future in any negative way?

EAD Renewal nightmare finally end
EAD Renewal sent to NBC on August 8th 2018, received the 180 days extension.... which will expired on June 2019, After a long 8 months wait i decided to go to my congressman office, NYC which it was a great help, she called them in front of me inquired why my EAD Renewal was taking so long, they responded I still have the 180 days extension and my employer have to accepted and that i still have time..... They said an Expedited request could be made with an Employer warning termination letter, which i did It was sent to NBC on 4/5/19 NBC received and transfer my case to VERMONT on 4/23/19 and finally today i received notification my NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCE. 5/6/9
9 months of wait and it was only move because congressman inquired couple of time on my Behalf....
MY I-485 is pending since October 2017, I have my interview Scheduled 05/23/19

Travel after GC interview
Is there anyone here who traveled and use their EAD after their GC interview?
I have upcoming interview on June 10. And i need to go home on June 12. I don’t know if that’s safe. I also asked my attorney and he said i can travel. I want to hear if based on experience though
