Are there any November filers here who have received the good news?
I filed with EB-3, RD is Nov 20th 2018 at NBC. There are absolutely zero changes to my status from the beginning, and it worries the crap out of me. By checking the USCIS timeline for NBC, October folks are getting theirs approved, so i’m kind of hoping I’ll get some good news in June.
It’s been a heck of a rough ride for past few months. But it’s good to see people on this website cheering each other on. Hope y’all get it soon!! God bless.

Hi guys i hope someone can help me with my question.
So i came here on J1 visa ( au pair) and my i-94 stamp says d/s meaning i am here legally in US as long i remain on exchange program. So my au pair year ends on June 2018 and we submitted all my i-140, i-485 etc. on April 26, 2018. I heard IO officers ask what is your current status. Am I illegal now since my au pair year ends last june 2018? Or i am legally staying here because we submit our application before my au pair year ends?

Wait is over, FINALLY!
Hi Everyone, after a long wait of 196 days, my EAD and AP combo card was finally approved. We didn't submit an expedite request; it took almost 7 months for it to be delivered. Here is my timeline, I hope this helps people who are still waiting.
AoS EAD and AP c(9), NBC, filing from NYC. Employment based.
Filed: Oct 16, 2018
RD: Oct 19, 2018
Biometrics: Nov 20, 2018
Card being produced: May 3, 2019
Card mailed to me: May 7, 2019
Card on USPS network: May 8, 2019
(this notification included a tracking number, although I already knew it because I am subscribed to USPS informed delivery. I highly recommend doing this).

SSN card on hands: May 12, 2019
Despite the very long wait, once I received the "card being produced" notification, everything went smoothly without any issues. I read some horror stories about unsuccessful attempted deliveries, lost cards, etc... But thanks to god and the universe nothing happened. I really hope this backlog gets sorted soon so waiting times can start getting shorter, best of luck for all of you guys, this blog really helped me to keep sanity while I was waiting.

State ID expired with my work authorization but I got the 180 day extension letter
Hello, my texas id expired the same day my work permit expired but I just got the 180 day automatic extension letter. I really need to get a job ASAP since my family is somewhat low on finances and to get a job I need to present a state ID. Can I use the 180 extension letter to get a a Texas Id? I tried calling USCIS just now but the call cut off unexpectedly.

My case just updated to "Interview was scheduled". It took 50 days from when "ready to schedule". My question is that how long does it take for me to learn the interview date and have that letter in hand? Is that 3-5 business days? How long USUALLY that interview date is away from today? Is it earlier than 30 days from today?
