L2 EAD notification
I am from Michigan. I sent my application for new L2 EAD to Phoneix center on 16th July through USPS priority mail express, and received USPS receipt on 17th July that the package has been delivered.

I sent G-1145, but even after 1 week, I haven't heard anything.

Should I wait, or call USCIS for further information.

Please suggest. Also, any one filed for L2 EAD at Phoneix in July?

EAD RENEWAL vs FILLING FEE
Good Morning Everyone. pls i need some help/answers on this. Have been reading this and just been so confused with instructions and all. My question is, if am filling for EAD renewal under category C9, am i still going to pay the filling fee of $410 plus the biometrics fee of $85 or just the filling fee of $410 or am not to pay any filling fee since i did when i first put in all my packages( 765,130, 485) ? Maybe am just to file and surpport with document of my initial EAD.. Pls i need someone who has gone thru or has a friend/fam member with this issue to pls advise.. Your contribution will be highly appreciated...

Timeline

PD: 01/30/2018
EB3, ROW, Visa Current

Came to California for school with F1 visa from 2007-2011
Company A: Started with OPT after graduation in 2011. Got H1B in April 2012 with premium processing for 3 years and extended additional 3 years

Transferred H1-B from Company A to Company B in the 5th year. H1B expires Sept 1st 2018 (exhausted all recapture)

18 Sept 2017: 1st Day at Company B
01 Oct 2017: PERM Application Started
11 Nov 2017: Prevailing Wages
10 December 2017: Job Posting and Ad Placement
30 Jan 2018: PERM received by USCIS (online submission)
23 May 2018: PERM Approved (112 days)
9 July 2018: Mailed I-765, I-140(premium processing) and I-485 to Nebraska
11 July 2018: USCIS received combo application
23 July 2018: I-140 Approved with premium processing (12days)
23 July 2018: I-765 Approved

Anyone have their I-765 application approved this quick before? I consulted my lawyer and he says he has never seen it this fast and it could be a mistake. He told me to wait for the next 2 weeks to see if we get the official approval notice and EAD card in the mail.

On the side note:
*** I did not expect it to be this quick since everyone was waiting 4-6 months for their EAD card. The rumor I heard is that if you submit I-140 with premium processing and USCIS sees that your H1B is expiring, USCIS approves your I-765 with your I-140***

EAD processing time
Hi everyone,

New to this forum, I've been reading a lot of different posts to try to find positive answers but every case is different, and I'm starting to lose at this point concerning the EAD...

Looking for people in my situation, to know how their case is going on:

Married to USC 02/05/18 (together for 6 years), filed with attorney

RD: 02/24/2018 Filed for I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131
PD: 02/24/2018 (same date as RD)
National Benefits Center, live in California, Category C9

03/06/2018: Case Received Notices for each 4 forms
03/26/2018: Biometrics appt

Since then nothing... On their website, still stuck at "Case was received"
Not even a "Completed review of fingerprints" like I see a lot of people has.

I called USCIS 3 times, 05/15, 06/02 and 07/01, they say the case is still pending, and that it's the normal processing time.. (but I see some of you got their EAD?)

Has any one of you experienced the same? Did you already get your EAD?
Thanks a lot for your replies

213 days… Combo card and Interview Notice arrived on the same week
PD 12/15/2017. I finally received my EAD/AP combo card. Very stressful as I had to wait another 70+ days AFTER I received an approval letter. But people from this forum have helped me a lot and it is my time to share my experience.

My total wait time was 213 days. My combo card was approved back in May but it was never produced nor mailed until this month. Turned out this happened because NBC never loaded my biometrics to the case, which is completely their fault.

My I-765/I-131 experience was absolutely miserable…but good thing happened too as I already received my interview notice for I-485.(I got my interview notice before my EAD card arrived.) My interview will be next month.

I am married to USC. No REF. Case received at NBC. Never asked to send additional documents.

PD: 12/15/2017
Bio: 1/25/2018
I-765/I-131 approved: 05/02/2018
I-765/I-131 approved letter in hand: 5/7/2018 (148 days)

My very first call to USCIS was made in Mid-May, asking where the heck my card is. From this point, I have dealt with so much nonsense with USCIS. One advise I can give: do not trust these people at customer support! They don't know anything yet they pretend that they know the answer. They are nothing but professional liars. Don't rely on their information. I was first told that my card was sent on May 15th. Then found out it was a lie. Then I was told that USCIS is supposedly send a card within 60 days of approval. That was a lie too.

The only thing worked for my case was congresswoman. My case would have been still sitting in the NBC today if I didn't receive their support. Service Request AND Infopass in my experience were absolutely useless.

Continuing my timeline:
I-765/I-131 approved letter in hand: 5/7/2018 (148 days)
First SR: 5/29/2018 (never assigned to an officer)
Second SR: 6/13/2018 (never assigned to an officer)
Got my job offer: 6/15/2018
Reached to Congresswoman: 6/18/2018
Got response back from Congresswoman’s team member: 7/2/2018
Interview notice by email: 7/7/2018
Interview notice in hand: 7/9/2018 (btw USCIS accidentally sent it to my old address but USPS forwarded to me.)
Card in Production: 7/10/2018
Card is mailed:7/12/2018
Card in Hand: 7/17/2018 (213days)
7/24/2018…Just used Advance Parole to come back to the U.S. No issues.

***HOW TO find your congressman and ask for help***
-Locate your congressman: https://www.house.gov/
-Once you find your representative, click his/her page, then click “Agency Help”, then fill out the form.

Good luck to you all!
