I have seen several cases from end of Nov 2017 that received their EAD even without raising SR or expediting their case while some others from August 2017 are not still adjudicated! What is going on?

Sept filer. Waiting 168 days for EAD. 2 service requests not assigned no status.
Tried calling uscis cust service today. Got transferred to tier 2, but wait time 4100 minutes.
Scheduled call back, let's see if I get a call back in 3 days. This is awesome.
Seems like as time passes, their service is getting just worse.

I contacted the congressman last week and today he got back to me and told me that USCIS told him that they are processing cases as of June 2017. I dont believe that all since I've been reading people who are calling USCIS and USCIS is telling them they are processing Sept 2017. I dont know what to believe. I've seen so many others Oct's getting approved. :( And now even the processing dates say Oct 1, 2017...so why the heck is USCIS giving dates that make no sense. So frustrating!

F1 opt new EAD (139 days of painful wait with no ending)
I filled for F1 opt new EAD on
5th october 2017.
I missed adding the 2nd page of my i20 so sent the correspondence.
25th oct - > correspondence recieved.
11th jan-> 1st SR (in line to be reviewed)
24th jan -> 2nd SR (assigned to officer and you will receive a decision in 30 days)
2nd Feb -> 3rd SR (assigned to officer and you will receive a decision in 30 days)
12 th feb -> 4th SR (assigned to officer and you will receive a decision in 30 days).
Called USCIS customer care multiple times and got disappointed.
spoke to l2 officer on 12th feb. -> Rude officer told to wait.
Contacted congressman and senetor -> no response from either.
Will contact ombudsman now.
Have postponed my joining twice already.
At the end of everyday I feel disappointed. After reading cases on this forum where people waited for 200+ days, I am loosing hope. :(

Eligibility Category: C03B Service Center Potomac
USCIS received application Nov. 13th 2017
Requested an expedite service on 01/29/2018
Expedite Denied on 02/02/2018
Service Request on 02/05/2018
Contact Congressman on 02/13/2018
Service Request answer 02/15/2018 Case is still pending and in line to be reviewed by an officer, allow additional time .. requests are being reviewed in the order as they are received (which is not true !!)
Online status changed 02/20/2018 to "card is being produced"
Total time 99 days.

NY (marriage based).
Something really weird happened last week, I have
like all of you I'm certain the USCIS app downloaded
on my phone.My heart dropped when I received two alerts
for my EAD and my AOS. Finally!I was so disappointed
when I clicked on the so-called alerts to read the same
soul crushing messages "Case was received.."
Has it ever happened to anyone?

OPT card never retured
Hi All,
Just wondering to check in if anybody are in the same shoes. I got my OPT extension on August 12th and i saw that there is mistake in the name.
So i have sent the required documents and EAD card with letter to uscis on November 25. My new card has been produced but hasn't been delivered yet.
Reason being: the Post Office returned your new card for Receipt Number, to us as undelivered. I have also provided an instance to uscis stating my card is missing and they have given me a 30 days notice period.
30 days are long gone and i don't have any update on the card yet.
Any suggestion are helpful and please let me know if anybody has the same experience before.
