So the processing time for NBC category 9 I-765 was updated to October 1st.
My pd is September 21st and still haven't received anything... has any September filler from the same category received anything ?

SR response
53 days after I have filed a SR it’s been assigned and completed. I’m pretty sure I won’t get any new information, but curious how long does it normally take for a response letter to arrive? It’s been 153 days...thinking of contacting Ombudsman. September filer, NBC.

Hi All,
First of all thank you all in this forum. In the days of darkness this forum kept me alive and afloat.
Me and my husband filled our concurent applications on 6 Oct 2017 in Nabraska center. It was received on 11 Oct 2017.
Sr - Jan 2- Generic response(your application is in line to be reviews..blah..blah)
Sr - Jan 11 - Generic response(your application is in line to be reviews..blah..blah)
Kept waiting nothing happened
Expedite request raised - Jan 22 - Denied with response(it can only be approved in case of true emergency)
Called USCIS customer care many times to talk to L2 officer. But never got any real update on progress of application
Conatcted Congressman - Feb 4
Out of sheer frustration just dropped an email to congressman. I didn't expect anything will turn
Feb 6- Called up the congressman office just to check if they received my email. I was given direct no of immegration unit handling such request. First attempt to talk was unsuccessful. But the representative called me himself. He heard patiently about my case. I requested for expedite request
Feb8- Send over 60 pages of supporting documents(bills, financial libilities) through represntative.
Got no news after that except for email that the congressional unit in NSC received our request
Feb 13 - Called up senator office but was told not to raise another request as we have already contacted congressman
At this point I was fully lost and clueless what I should do further
But suddenly in afternoon got emails that mine and husbands EAD card was sent for production.
In our case I feel congressional inquiry helped a lot. I am really thankful to the person who handled our request.
My suggestion to all, keep following up with each unit. There is chance you will not get response immediately but as applicant we have to use all avenues.
I pray to god that my people here get their EADs soon and no one should go through the frustration I went through.
Now the wait for EAD in my hands begin.

Hi everyone
I’ve been visiting this forum as a guest for the past 2 months.All the suggestions were extremely helpful and I received my card today.
Ead form accepted -oct 16
First SR raised on Jan 3rd
Requested to expedite my case due to financial problems on Jan 11th
Request for expediting my case denied on Jan 14
Lost my job on Jan 24th
Second SR raised on feb 1st
Notice for case in line for process received Feb 6th
Sent a request to Congressmen via email Feb 10th
Received approval notice on Feb 11th so took the request back fromCongressman’s office.
My status still shows application received butI received my card today so total days were about 137 .
So I’ll start applying for jobs from today.

Finally y’all after 233 days I got an update that my card is being produce do anyone know how long that will take for me to get it I’m so happy on the Valentine’s Day I don’t know it ombudsman help if they did I’m greatful

Nov 3/L2 EAD Renewal/a18/Vermont
Hi all
I applied for L2 renewal on Nov3rd,2017. Lost my job as EAD expired on Jan 18,2018. Raised SR on Jan 30th and no reply yet. Raised Expedite request on Feb 12,2018 and no response yet. Contacted Congressman & Ombudsman as my employer is willing to get back me to work if i get my EAD soon. No responses from them. What else should i do? Please pour some suggestions. Am Helpless!!
