EAD Vermont, a18, Oct
Eventhough my card status on the website shows 'CARD IS RECEIVED', I checked my mail today and lo and behold, my new EAD Card was sitting in my mailbox.
My receive date at Vermont center is 10 Oct and I have been waiting since almost 126 days.
I had tried everything possible that I read on this forum - I tried raising SRs, expediting through congressmen, expediting through Infopass, contacting Ombusdman and none of that worked for me honestly. They didn't recognize having a job offer as reason for expediting the process.
Having said that, I'm thanking God right now that despite all the tears shed in the last 2 months, there's light at the end of the tunnel. I'm sure they are working on Oct fillers, eventhough they don't seem to be changing the online status of the applications that often.

Finally i get an update. Card being produced
Hi everyone, I want to update about my case. I finally receive a good news today, my card is being produced. After 161 days and several Service Request and contact Ombudsman, Congresswoman and a lot of prayers, I feel happy, its really an amazing feeling. Thanks for all you guys for your posts. Keep on fighting and be patient, the day will come anyway, its not easy because i suffered for that but God is good all the time. Good luck....

Change of processing date for Vermont center
Did the Vermont Center just change the processing date from Nov 7 2017 to Sep 7 2017. Not sure if this is even a correct thing.

today I got text and email that New Card is Being Produced!

Finally after 2 SR's, congressman, ombudsman and 2 calls to level 2's!
Not sure if any of that helped but at least it seems to have.
Category c9 at NSC.
148 days
Now just have to wait for card which i hope will arrive within 10 days!
Also got notice of Interview Scheduled for Mar 29 - my lucky day!!

I finally received this mail from Ombudsman, This means they really doing their part ?
"Dear Sir or Madam,
The Ombudsman's Office has reviewed your request for case assistance and contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding your application/petition.
We will notify you when we receive information from USCIS."
I did contact the senator too, I have similar email respond. Does this will help me to expedite my case, Since, I been awaiting 92 days for EAD.

Post-Valentines Gift
I just got informed today that my card if finally being produced. Thank God my young family and I, wife and 11 month old son are US citizens, can finally move on with this phase.
My cases were received Oct 2, 2017 (I 765, I 130 and I 131) and Oct 9, 2017 for I 485 under C9 category.
I think the Congressman and Ombudsman really helped as I contacted them 2 weeks ago or I dont know, maybe just coincidence. Thanks to this forum for those tips still!
So I just want to pay it forward by sharing my tips as well.
1. Pray hard and storm the heavens for help, even from your dead relatives.
2. Put your name on your mailbox (2 of my receipts were returned to USCIS in Oct 27 and i had to follow up with them for several months. I only got one of the receipts again for i 765 in Feb 9.)
3. Just be nice and respectful to L2 officers whenever you call USCIS, i had to talk to them often as they have a better overview of our case status.
Other than that, i think much of the other tips are here in the forum anyway. I'm just so happy now and I wish everyone fast resolutions of your cases! Take care and keep being strong for yourself and loved ones.

Contacted Ombudsman, Senator but nothing for F2A
My application was submitted on 11/13/2017. My category is F2A and my PD is 03/05/2016.
I contacted both Ombudsman and Senator last week with a letter from my employer and lots of bill but still have not heard anything. Should I try to keep calling to Ombudsman as well as Senator office to ask for update? I have not contact the congressman yet since what I read is Ombudsman and Senator could help more. What should we do? or is it because they have to wait for our PD to become available? Mine becomes available next month with the March Visa Bulletin.
