RETURNED CAARD BACK TO USCIS
Please can anybody tell enlighten me days or weeks will take the uscis before they send my EAD that was return by postman. please someone should advice ?

Update on the waiting time for EAD card
So after I called today USCIS and talked with a T2 officer, the waiting time for EAD has changed and this information will go soon on their website too: 4 to 6 months waiting time is normal now, as in the last 6 months they have received 40% more applications, so they need more time to review all cases.
Very frustrating... I already have 4 months of waiting, so they said that anytime in the next 2 moths my card will arrive.

Case under review ?
Could someone please explain to me what the generic answer
"Case still under review, you will receive a reply shortly" mean?
Does it mean my case hasn't been assigned to an officer yet?
In other words background check is still not done?
Is it an answer you get before getting your case approved?
Another week has started ..this is driving me out of my wits!
I'm trying to comprehend what in the world August filers
got pushed aside..

L2 EAD Renewal
11/17/2017 - Case Received
01/11/2018 - request for expedite
01/16/2018 - USCIS sent me an email asking for detailed letter explaining why my case qualifies for expedited handling.
**I got really busy at work in between so only responded to them after 2 weeks.
01/31/2018 - Faxed my letter and all supporting documents.
02/02/2018 - called them to follow up but officer won't transfer me and told me I need to wait.
02/05/2018 - called them again today. I insisted to talk to L2 officer as my EAD is expiring next week 02/16. they transferred me.. L2 officer told me that my application was approved 01/31 and the receipt notice was mailed out 02/01.
my case status online still shows "case received 11/17/17. Not sure how long it will take but hopefully everything will work out before my card expiration.

How long generally it takes from case status showing Card in Production to case status showing Card mailed?
If somebody doesn’t receive Card mailed status how long it takes to receive card in hand from the card production status?
Are there any new H4EAD filers who have applied for SSN too along with the application? How long that takes to receive in mail?
I called National Customer Service Center and somebody on other end said it takes 30 days for each step. Is this real?

PD August 1, NBC, still no EAD, no RFE, nothing, i contact ombudsman they replied back says my case have been resolved but I don't know what they mean by that, and I try to ask them what they mean, but they reply again say the case have been close and the email have been sent out to me, please does anybody know what this means, I don't know what we August filler did to NBC
