We filed at NBC on the 28th of August 2019 and complete biometrics but still waiting to hear anything back. It has now gone past the processing time and we are unsure how long it is going to take. Is anyone in the same boat at the moment? What are the next steps in this process?

EAD
I have been reading many other experiences about their EAD card. I am going through the same experience as many. I was approved my I 765 on Feb 12, went and did my Biometric Mar 10. Changes already made on my case as fingerprinting has taken. Just praying now my EAD card come before all this Pandemic is over as I am hoping to start to work immediately. Do anybody know how much longer they would take? I know there is alot at hand now this lockdown is going on, but I am exercising alot pf patient

What to tell employers?
Hi guys,
My PD is January 30th (NBC). I am a teacher and I have been interviewing now for next school year (starting late August or September), and I hope to have the EAD card for then. However, what do you guys tell employers to make them wait for you? Am I allowed to sign the contract before having the EAD card or is it better to wait? So far I haven't told the schools I am interviewing with about my situation (I still have to do second round) but I don't know what to do because I really want them to wait for me (specially because the job offers would be for late August, so I they wouldn't be really loosing anything).

I am on J1 Visa, got my 140 NIW approved already and for waiver 2 years home residency rule.
I applied for AoS in december 2019.
I have done biometrics and status says fingerprint review complete on i485, i765 and I 131.
However, my J1 status expires ending of May.
My boss want to keep me working. She initially decided to file H1B (though she decided late), but this lockdown has disrupted the whole process but we are counting on me getting EAD from my AoS.
My wife, derivative applicant with is an essential worker during this lockdown (she works in the hospital). Her current EAD also expire in may.
Please, does it make sense to apply for expedited EAD.
Please I need opinions.

EAD expiring: Termination or Unpaid Leave of Absence
I really need some advice on this. My L2 EAD is expiring next week and My employer is putting me on unpaid leave of absence. with no work or contact.
Since I have worked a few days of this month my Insurance would be covered till the end of the month.
I am worried about the consequences of this on my future applications. Since I would be still be an employee of the company, would this be considered as unauthorized employment?
Also, I am unable to return company's laptop due to coronavirus lockdown.
Should I rather ask them to terminate me?

Hi, I am graduating in May 2020, I applied for EAD on 19th Feb 2020 and my start date is 18th May 2020, as I got full-time job.
the application I-765 received - 19th Feb 2020
case status as on today - 1st April 2020 - the case was received
it's been over 1.5 months now, what should I do. My job joining date is 18th May 2020.

Temporary travel suspension
Hello family!!!
I hope all are safe on this horrible situation in the present world.
I applied for AOS on 11/22/19
EAD 04/01
I had interview on 3/31/2020 which got cancelled due to pandemic and online status again case is ready to schedule for an interview!!
I had flight on 03/22/2020 which got cancelled due to outbreak of COVID-19
my concern is I had emergency parole which got expired on 3/31/2020 and I'm still in india due to temporary travel suspension and I got my EAD with me. Will it be ok if i travel with combo card or should i need to explain them a situation coz it wasn't my mistake it was national emergency!!!
Suggestions and opinions will be highly appreciated.

I'm out of job and want to apply for unemployment, my ead renewal is pending since december, does anyone know if it's
