L2 EAD Vermont
Hi everyone,

My RD is 8/20 and am still waiting for the EAD.

Any good news from folks who filed in August at VSC?

I am losing hope and don't know what to do. It's frustrating and almost a challenge to remain positive.

Best,
Rx

J2 Interim EAD or Not in case of RFE
Hi everybody,

'Can I apply for an interim EAD card or not in case I received an RFE for additional information?'

Case explained - time line
November 15 2019: EAD documents received by USCIS
January 15 2020: RFE received from USCIS
February 12 2020: RFE RESPONSE received by USCIS

In total my application takes almost 150 days. USCIS officially has 90 days (excl. weekend and holidays) to come back with a decision.

Does somebody of you know whether these 90 days start from November 15 or does the counting start over from the February 12?

I really hope somebody can help me with this!

Best regards!

L2 EAD Renewal - Texas Service Center - RD 08/26/2019
Hello Everyone,

I have lost my job and hope now because EAD is still pending since 08/26/2019.

Are there any cases who never received EAD and is there any max period that we wait and escalate or something?

TIA.

2/4: submitted response to RFE
2/8: case ready for the interview
3/3: case is ready for the interview: Then Covid -19: I have no hope for near term interview :(
3/15: escalated via Ombudsman
3/20: escalated via congressman
3/24 8 am: I765 card is being produced
3/24 Noon: Case approved

hoping to get card sometimes early next week

No word on EAD yet, I am tired of waiting,
I doubt my employers are going to even keep to their word that I can come back as it’s been more than 5 months I had to stop working
The NBC field office is so slow! I see people from Chicago getting their EAD in 3 months!.

Congressman reached out
So I got a response from my congressman’s office and they were told my case is within processing time!! Honestly I’m irritated, how, when I filed in July of 2019 and they are processing August cases!! My case has fallen outside normal processing time and they need to give me my card!! I’m so sick of them
