EAD Approved
I sent my Ead application in on March 10th and it was approved on March 26th but it doesn’t say new card is being produced or in production I’m wondering when will I receive it. It just say i will receive the notice April 10th

Finally after 8.5 months !!
Woke up to the best news today, after countless inquiries, expedite denials, asking the congressman to help and finally reaching out to the ombudsman last week. My new card is being produced. I’m ecstatic and over the moon!!!

New Card Being Produced
I expedited my marriage based EAD application on March 30th. They requested evidence the same day and submitted it on April 1st. Today, I got the update that new card is being produced.
Does anyone when can I expect to receive the card in hand? Would it also work for Advanced Parole?

EAD Card being produced
Hi all,
Been a lurker here for 2 months now. And my card is finally in production! My EAD application is as follows:
L2 EAD - via I-765
California Service Center
Here's my timeline:
12/27/2019 - USCIS Case received, no biometrics or appointments
03/30/2020 - Follow up call to USCIS because the application is beyond 90 days
04/02/2020 - New Card Is Being Produced
I have been prepared to expect the worst (5 to 7 months), but this is certainly a wonderful turn of events. I'm not sure if it's because USCIS is ramping up on EAD processing or if my recent call had any effect. I've read somewhere that USCIS does some "sweeps" of EAD applications beyond 90 days and maybe my recent call somehow "flagged" my application.
I guess for those waiting beyond the 90-day window, maybe you could make a short call to USCIS just checking if the application is processing normally. Also, mention your concerns about it exceeding 90 days already. Nothing to lose but a few minutes.

When to contact Congress man?
Hi all,
I provided my timeline earlier beneath wrt my case. Short question, maybe helpful for all of us. Who should I contact first when the 60 day response deadline to an RFE of the uscis expires? The uscis themselves or go straight to Congress man to increase my chances to get a response to my case?
In case of Congress man, what would you recommend? Give them a call straight or send them an email?

Hello guys I have some info/bad news for you that your EAD was approved after March 16th.
Social Security Administration is not issuing new SSN since that day. They suspended that service when they closed the offices. The service will be back open again when they reopen the offices to the public.
It’s really unfair that after waiting long painful months they approve and send our EAD’s and not issue our new SSN. I feel like i got excited for nothing. But it is what it is. At least we all know now why we open the mail every day and there’s not a SSA envelope for us
