Congressional inquiry ignored by USCIS
Just got of the phone with our congresswomen office.
They confirmed that our "our of processing time" case inquiry was sent to the USCIS more than 30 days ago, and that USCIS didn't answer it at all.

Now the office suggested we try to expedite.
I got to say i am a bit uneasy given all the circumstances (public charge, we are outside of processing time).

This is kind of nuts.

I 131
Hi All,

My family and I filed our 485, 765, 131 on Nov 27, biometrics done on dec 26, and yesterday I received an update that my 131 fingerprint has been applied. What does it mean? Why only mine was updated? Any idea when will I receive my EAD?
Please advise. Thank you

I changed my address in uscis and I recieved my interview notification on my new address. When I had my interview, the officer confirmed my new address, but my approval notice got to my old address. I called uscis and they told me they have my new address on their system. Is it possible that my GC get to my old address? Or this is normal?

EAD RENEWAL
Hello Everyone,

Me and my brother applied to have our EAD renewed (2 different Asylum cases) during mid September i applied and recieved the reciepts in 2 weeks now its been over 4 months and USCIS tracking is showing "case was updated to show fingerprints" since october 21st and we havent recieved anything from uscis why they havent been processed yet we are getting worried because we have great jobs that we dont wanna loose them. our first workpermit was approved because we applied for asylum after living in U.S for 2 years but we were under 18 and applied for witholding of removal once we both turned 18 and was approved to get a EAD since there was no court date for 150 days after we applied. please let me know if someone else is going thru this its just been too long we havent recieved our work permits.

thanks in advance

E-2 EAD working during extension
Hey Y'all,

Do we have an issue if my wife will keep working during her E-2 extension? Her employer is asking about the status, what do we say?

Do they have to fire her... or do they only have to put her on hold, untill she has the EAD card.

We filed in Jan... and her card expires soon, so it might take another 3 months or so (WAC).

would love to hear your feedback.

Good luck! Get that EAD!

Ead ssn
I was wondering if I should go to social security and change my SSN card when I receive my EAD card? this is because “VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION” is written on my SSN card. I had a ssn already from my J1 visa. Is the same thing written on the ssn you got with your ead?

I765 still no update
Well... I don't know how to digest my negative feeling with endless waiting... PD is 7/18.
Jan 6 - Raised Expedite Request via Congressman's office
Jan 22 - Congressman's office informed that the expedite request is approved
Feb 24 - Got a forwarded response from USCIS regarding the long silence of the application, they claimed " We have requested the file be reviewed by an officer".
Today, March 3rd... still NOTHING..
I don't know what happened... and what I should do... I tried to have the congressman's office call their congressional line, but apparently they are not willing to do since the office is busy, which I can totally understand...
I have no clue what happened to my case..probably they lost it?
