Adjustment of Status Form I-485
Dear all,

I’ve been a silent member for 2 months and here is my experience.

Married my US spouse back in 2014 in my home town, we are 2 blessed parents of 3 beautiful and healthy daughters.

I Legally entered the country with a B1/B2 visa
Oct 15th, I filed my AOS (I-485 form), work permit (I-175 Form) and my petition(I-130)

We did not use any attorneys because everything needed was on the website.

Oct 30th, I received text messages with my receipt number
Nov 3rd, I received my first Noa1 form I-797C in my mailbox
Nov 5th, I received my biometrics appointment notice
Nov 22nd, I completed my biometrics at 9:30 am
Nov 22nd, my cases (I-485 and I-765) changed to fingerprints completed

22 days later, my cases (I-485 and I-765) changed to the case was updated to show fingerprints were taken

Dec 23rd, I received an RFE about my birth certificate
Dec 30th, USCIS received the document in response to the RFE and started to work on my case again

Feb 21st (52 days later), my case (form I-485) was ready to be scheduled for an interview
- After talking to a USCIS agent, it takes 60 days to deal with an RFE.

10 days later(March 3rd), the case changed to Interview was Scheduled. Now, waiting for the actual letter.

When should I receive my EAD?

Filed office NBC, local office - Lee's Summit Kansas City Mo. I know some folks do receive their GC before the actual EAD card but I feel it'll be here this month.

Good luck to all of you guys, I really recommend you guys to find some outdoor activities that will make you not think about it at least sometimes. I have a membership at Planet Fitness, the YMCA, play Basketball with a group of friends 3 times a week, I mean keeping myself busy really helps.

God bless ya!

Ready to Schedule Interview
Hello All,

I am a silent reader of this forum and helped me a lot.
Received date for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 is September 17, 2019 (married to LPR)
I received an update on I-485 is "Case Ready to Schedule for an Interview"
In approximately, how many days I need to expect notice of interview has been scheduled?
Will I get My EAD in between the Interview time frame?

Any suggestions and help will be really appreciated.

Thank You

EAD misplaced by USPS and is lost.
Hey,
My EAD has lost by USPS.
Incorrect delivery address was given to USPS by USCIS. I have never received my EAD card. Postal services have delivered it to the incorrect address and highlighted that it has misplaced. My apartment no is 455 and USPS were having apartment no 45 which doesn't not even exist in our building. I have mailed (posted) all the evidences to USCIS stating that I have given the right address to USCIS and incorrect address was given to USPS.

Will this work? Please suggest what should I do?
It's Financially difficult to pay around $500 again and more 3 months delay.

Thank you.

Texas Service Center - L2 EAD - RD 08/26/2019
Hello All,

I have been waiting since 190 days for L2 EAD renewal.

I have an issue and need input from you guys. i have a 2nd expedite request pending for review since 18 days and when I contacted the Contact center to raise an 2nd SR for outside normal processing times , unfortunately she raised another expedite request.

What would happen now? Would the officer get irritated by so many requests?

Can you please let me know if anyone had such problem before?

Still no EAD.

11th of june was long ago.

Last Monday we got "ready to schedule", and now nothing. no "interview scheduled". no EAD. I must admit I was hoping that since we are so far outside of processing time that after "ready to schedule" something else would come quick. Nope that is not the case,

On the positive sign Ombudsman confirmed that they will be sending an inquiry.
